Summary:
This is a new adventure-themed home built in 2023. Walk or bike from the house to the peaceful pines and fresh air of Mt. Elden, Picture Canyon, and the Arizona Trail.

Close to downtown Flagstaff, NAU, REI, Snowbowl, sled riding, Continental Country Club, Flagstaff Mall, and historic Route 66.
Day trips to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Lake Powell, Glen Canyon Dam, Petrified Forest, Painted Desert, or Meteor Crater.

The Space:
Relax on our 2nd story balcony or front porch when not out enjoying all the outdoor activities the area has to offer, or cook a meal in our well-equipped kitchen with all-new stainless steel appliances. The living room features a comfy sectional and a 65” SmartTV, or enjoy our electric console fireplace.

Our upstairs, mountain-themed bedrooms feature comfortable beds and linens. The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed with an en suite bathroom, while our second bedroom has a queen with a bathroom and shower conveniently located adjacent to the room—each with large-screen smart TVs.

A door code will be sent to you prior to arrival

The Neighborhood:
This is a brand new housing development finished in 2023. You can walk or bike to several trails. At the top of the hill, there is a trailhead with access to the peaceful pines and fresh air of Picture Canyon and the Arizona Trail. Access to Mt. Elden is across the street!

Second time visiting

Stayed here in October 2024 and decided to use the house as our base for our April 2025 trip to.Property has everything you would need plus close access to grocery, mall, and restaurants. This time we explored Lowell Observatory, historic downtown Flagstadf, and day trip to Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix. We took 87 on way back so got to see more of Arizona off the beaten path.

Very nice and comfortable.

The house if very easy to get to, just off a main artery in a small, new neighborhood. Very comfortable. Clean with all we needed. Slept very well, comfy bed!

Beautiful place, great location!

We did a lot of exploring during our stay in Flagstaff. As a result, we did not spend a lot of time indoors and only really used this as a place to sleep and shower. It was clean, well stocked and in a convenient location. Perfect for eBay we needed! We appreciate the opportunity to stay here.

This is a well maintained property, modern and clean. We found everything we needed for this trip. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. The location is convenient. Perfect Size and Location

We only stayed 2 days and 3 nights. It was just the right size for my brother and I for our visit to the Grand Canyon,Meteor Crater, and Four Corners. Gave us each our own space when we returned.

Great, comfortable house

Fall in Flagstaff

What was good: Location was great for us. Easy to get onto I-40 Nice and quiet area We had deer outside the balcony Beds were really comfortable Inside temperature was great since Flagstaff had a heat wave for all 12 days Great great value Opportunities to do better Towels were left in the dryer by house keeping. A couch/chair cover was left in the washing machine Toilet paper a little better quaility could be approved upon We would stay again

Great little house under the mountain.

Great view of the mountain, house had all the accommodations and neccesities for a great trip. Fully stocked kitchen, super clean, shampoo/conditioner in the shower, comfy bed, tvs in all rooms. Will definitely try to come back.

We rented this VRBO because we were moving our daughter into college and coming from the east coast. I can’t say enough positive things about the owners. They were super helpful in assisting us with questions about shipping items ahead of time, locations of the best hikes and various other information. Love this place!

This is a beautiful property and everything needed was provided. Each aspect of the process, from the check-in through the check-out, was handled seamlessly. Communication was timely and detailed. Clean and updated/Great hosts

We stayed 2 nights while visiting family in Flagstaff. The home was beautifully decorated and clean. Everything was so convenient and it was very comfortable. We had an issue with the thermostat which was our error. Called Mike and he answered promptly and helped with the issue. Mike and Wayne are excellent hosts and we will stay here whenever we are in Flagstaff. Thank you for a beautiful, pleasant home.

Birthday Getaway

We spent 3 nights at this property to celebrate my daughter’s birthday( myself, husband, and daughter) and it was a perfect location to see the sights! The house is in such a pretty location, with big pine trees and views of the mountains. It’s very clean and well appointed and so quiet at night. We also really enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the storms that were passing through…lots of rain and lightning! Water pressure in the showers was so good, the beds were comfortable, A/C and ceiling fans were great. The only thing lacking is a full length mirror in either bedroom. We didn’t do any cooking but the kitchen had everything you’d need. We used the coffeemaker(grateful for that!) and the tea kettle. The house is very close to groceries and all kinds of take out and restaurants. I would stay here again!

Good experience in the high pines!

Great place to gather with my adult children. We could have used another chair around the tv. Kitchen was very well appointed and had about anything you need. Stairs to upper level a bit steep but worth the climb as the bedroom is large and well decorated. Eparking. Would stay again!

Spring break

The house is lovely and so cozy! Everything we could think of was provided. The neighborhood is lovely; out of the hustle and bustle, but also close enough to run out for a bite or a grocery run. Excellent Stay

We had a great time staying in this home! It was so homey and comfortable. It had all the amenities that we needed. We loved the extra touches, such as the games, blankets, charging ports by every bed, and night lights! The location was wonderful for us! We used it as a homebase in Flagstaff. We went on many day trips, including the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope, Canyon, and Sedona! What a wonderful trip! Thanks!!

Home away from Home

Flagstaff Adventures was our home away from home! All the way from Ohio visiting the Grand Canyon, Sedona and Flagstaff this location was perfect distance to each area! Close to local grocery, restaurants and shopping. This is a new build surrounded by other new builds in a quaint neighborhood with two small mountains that can be seen from the windows/patio. Extremely clean and well stocked with all the amenities! The hosts truly thought of EVERYTHING and I mean everything! From a coffee(tee & hot cocoa) station to warm blankets to snuggle up on the couch! Maps of the local attractions and books about the culture. Board games and cards for the family to play! Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/utensils/measuring cups…let’s just say it even has an air fryer!! They have salt and pepper and other seasonings! You truly won’t have to buy any of the basics. Shampoo/Conditioner and clean towels in the bathrooms. Soft bath mats and space to place your toiletries in drawers for your stay! Very comfortable beds, fluffy pillows and warm comforters! Lots of space in the closets and they provide luggage racks! Only challenge we had was adjusting the heat(we stayed during an odd cold storm). It was extremely hot upstairs and cold downstairs. But could be user error, so we turned on the ceiling fans in the bedrooms and it worked just fine. Overall very warm and welcoming feeling when we were there. And all amenities +!
