Inside the main house, you'll be greeted by a bright and cozy atmosphere. Gather at the formal dining table for board games or home-cooked meals. The sophisticated kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances and ample cabinet space, will delight any hobby chef, perfect for preparing both grand meals and lakeside snacks. The cabana house provides a relaxing lakeside retreat, complete with a full-size refrigerator, cabinetry, counter space, and bar-style seating, ideal for enjoying the lake views and socializing. The property’s abundant amenities include access to a peaceful 2.5-mile walking trail, large outdoor seating areas, a firepit, a gas grill, a private beach, and a dock slip for easy access to the lake.

The docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
To use streaming services, guests must log in with their own credentials.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Awesome location, great house!

So cozy, beautiful location, really nice house. Slightly aged, but still amazing. We had trouble finding the 5th bedroom because it was above the garage, and access wasn’t marked, but it’s there! We loved the outdoor firepit, hot tub and dock on the lake.

Braid up house and location

This house is big and beautiful and perfect for a large group. We cooked dinner and had everything we needed. The dock was up, so we were able to do some fishing. Due to a burn ban, we were unable to have a fire, but that area is beautiful. The game room was a bit lacking; the pool table and shuffleboard are nice, but the air hockey shown in the pics was not there. There are plenty of eating spaces even for large groups. The bathrooms need updated, but the house overall is lovely and very clean. We would definitely stay here again when in Deep Creek.

Perfect retreat

Great location with activities for everyone in the group. Layout was perfect allowing each couple to have their own space. Amenities were great, from grills and seating to the hot tub and dock. Beautiful views.

Great Stay

We stayed here for a long weekend in the off season. The house was beautiful! We used the fire pit in the front of the house and there were plenty of seats. The bedrooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. The view from the back of the house on the lake was gorgeous. We had 8 people and used all of the rooms, we never felt crowded. The dinning room table was large enough for all of us to fit around. The kitchen was well stocked with all equipment needed. The only thing that I felt should have been mentioned is one of the bedrooms is above the garage but it had its own bathroom and a little deck attached to it. Other then that it was a great stay. The owners were also very responsive to our messages. I highly recommend this house to stay at

We loved the lake views, spacious rooms, well-appointed kitchen, hot tub, walking trail, and boat house game room! Our party included five couples and two single people and we had plenty of room to spread out. All the kids mentioned wanting to come again.

Don’t look to close

This house has a great location and the common space is great for large groups. The dock is the best feature of this house. It’s close to the house, easy walk back and forth and there is a trail that runs behind the house. Quiet part of the lake. It needs a lot of TLC. We have stayed here 2 different years and not much has been addressed.

Cold and dirty

The heating was not working, we had to rewire the thermostat as it would not start. Very unpleasant given that it was February with an average of 20 F. The winter duvets were either dirty in the laundry or abandoned on the floor in broken/dirty walk in closets. No duvet covers were available. Dirty plates and cutlery in the kitchen. There was trash left in the sunroom from previous guests. While two bedrooms were very nice and the position was great, overall, the house looked very worn out. The agency provided new duvets the following days but some of us had to sleep fully dressed the first night. No internet. The agency apologized and gave us a discount given all the problems, but has yet to answer regarding our request for a further discount for the internet. Most of us had to leave one day early because they could not work from there.

Perfect getaway home

We gathered together for Thanksgiving and it was the perfect setting. The house has two separate gathering spaces, several tables for small or large groups and the kitchen is totally equipped with every possible utensil, pan or dish. The bedrooms are spacious and bedding is first rate. And having the game room away from the living areas lets the readers enjoy quiet while the gamers can whoop and holler away.

Lovely home & views

We loved the property! The house was beautiful & the views were amazing. The interior of the house was clean. We enjoyed the amenities. We were disappointed in the condition of the front entry & back deck. The entry had broken steps that were unstable. There were piles of leaves all over. The huge back deck was also filled with leaves & debris. The tables were very dirty. We would recommend this rental if the outside issues were improved.

We had to clean the deck furniture to be able to use it. There piles of leaves on the deck and front entrance. I am sure at one point it was a beautiful property but when you don’t take care of it things go down hill quickly. There also wasn’t near enough plates or pots in the kitchen.

Very Disappointed

We had to find a new location as conditions at Veneto Woods were very unhealthy. Mouse droppings were found in the kitchen cabinets and in bathrooms. The floor vent in the kitchen right next to the island was filthy and spewing that air into the room. Black mold was around a bathroom ceiling fan and behind an upstairs toilet as well as mold on furniture in a bedroom. In addition there was no gas to the stove or hot water. We had to quickly find an alternative. I have yet to receive a refund despite my persistence in contacting VRBO and Vacasa. If I could load pictures here I would.

Great location, ok house

The good: A lot of space on this property and the path to the lake was great and not steep. The house had plenty of space for the 12 people that we had there to spread out. Location was nice with grocery store and some restaurants within 10 minutes. Public boat launch within 20 minutes. Kitchen was well stocked, washer and dryer were great, game room was nice and access to a small building that had a refrigerator by the lake was nice. The dock was a great size and plenty of room for parking boats/skis. Hot tub was clean and serviced the day of our arrival. The Bad: There were quite a few details of the property that were lacking. The kitchen cabinets didn't all latch and frequently came open. The drawer faces were loose on several kitchen drawers and would nearly pull off when opening the drawer. The dish washer bottom shelf was almost impossible to pull in and out if you had silverware in the basket. The facing on the downstairs master bathroom cabinet was nearly detached. There were no blinds or curtains to cover the large sliding glass doors or windows in the downstairs master bedroom which was fully visible from the back deck. The room over the garage did not appear to have been swept in some time as there was a decent amount of dirt and dust accumulated on the floor and going up the steps. Wifi did not reach the room above the garage or the game room.

Would not rent involving Vacasa

Most importantly you will have a wonderful time. You have all the basic necessities to enjoy time here. Don't be deceived by the photos. I don't believe anyone lives at this home. We took insurance out thinking it was pristine. It was far from pristine! I would have never invited guests into this home in its current condition. Leaves hadn't been taken care of since last fall. Christmas decorations were still up. The dishwasher needs replaced. We couldn't even pull out the bottom drawer and a section of utensil basket was broke. The bath cabinet was ripped from the frame in master bedroom. Bedspread had two huge bleached out sections on it in master bedroom. The deck furniture was never cleaned. Deck was never swept. Entrance way was never swept. Garage was never swept with an old refrigerator with functioning doors on it which was never disposed. Front steps missing slate. The kayaks were locked up and could not be opened. Several ponds around the home that have not been touched. The front line Vacasa workers were fantastic! They responded when called and were extremely helpful and courteous! I would give them 5 stars!!
