The location was great, very close to everything we wanted to do in St. Louis, but the club playing loud music on Saturday night wasn't the best. The property is an older renovated townhouse and is a little worn from age--old floors, missing paint in some areas, etc---but we didn't have any issues with that. Communication with the host was easy and efficient. I did have trouble receiving clickable links through VRBO so I had to always ask for links to be sent through my text, but the host would quickly send them when I asked. Just added an extra step in having to ask for that. One thing that I noticed was some staining on the couch that I did not see in photos (I think it may have been a different couch) so we weren't thrilled with that. The backyard space was great! The kids loved the fake grass and we had plenty of space to hang out. Overall we had a good experience with this property!
The property was nice and well laid out and the location near Forest Park was great! Checking in was really easy, which isn't always the case with short term rentals.
We came to see the city and this townhouse was conveniently located right in the middle of the city close to everything. Check in and check out was easy. Plenty of free street parking. Well stocked kitchen.

Post-Christmas family stay
Nice location and good communication with property owner. Listing needs updating. Some information is inaccurate. The instructions about use of the TV have nothing to do with the remote controls provided. We were a party of 5, but the property sleeps 12. Oddly, there were only 2 plates and 2 forks in the house. Strange. Likewise, furniture needs to be replaced. The chairs and couch swallow you, as the armature is clearly broken down. That said, this is a decent place to stay if you want to explore St. Louis. We were
Had a group of friends in town for a bachelorette party! The house was in the perfect locations close to a lot of nightlife/resteraunts. Very clean and plenty of space!
Good communication we were just using as one night stay before hitting up the City Museum and headed back to Indianapolis. Great for this purpose because we really didn’t need anything.
Everything was great for a group of 4 guys in the area for dirt racing at the Dome
Only receiving check in info 1 hr prior was a bit stressful. We have had last min cancelations by property managers, so I like to have details in advance. We understand check in is not until 4. But having that info morning of would I’m give peace of mind
This unit was 1.5 miles away from my granddaughters wedding venue. What a time saver for me and family with the rehearsals and wedding activities. Parking was not an issue as my group had three cars. Easy peasy! Host Dan was very helpful with my check in questions and responded promptly. Sheets were clean, water hot, and truly a wonderful experience for my family. Thanks Dan!
Nice area and very clean home and quick effective communication!

10/10 don't recommend
Property is as pictured but the furnishings are worn. The rug is nasty. The sofa drops down deep when sitting. The mattresses on the queen beds are sunken in front BR, 2nd BR mattress is super loud. There is a hole in the floor in the kitchen that u can see under the house. The bath towels are super small and only 2 washcloth for the entire house that sleeps 12. I asked repeatedly for more towels bc my 1st response was there is a washer/dryer there. I responded with clarifying question just in case there was confusion and no one responded. Asked later and was told let me see what can be done.. NOTHING WAS DONE!! They don't answer the phone only text or app which is fine but do something. The home details for towels dont match. We could have brought our own if we knew. The water is slow to drain in the sink and tub upstairs. The parking is there but not clearly marked. The sign says you will be towed if you park here. Can easily be marked parking for ....unit. I had to ask more than once about that bc i didn't want my car towed. We stay at properties out of town all the time and this is t the WORST!! NEVER AGAIN
The number of bedrooms was perfect and the living spaces worked well enough for 3 adults and 9 twelve year olds. The location was convenient for gas, restaurants, and groceries. The neighbors.
Were welcoming and helpful. There was plenty of detergent for both dishes and laundry, coffee supplies, and clean towels for everyone.
Some of the furniture had clearly been treated roughly by previous guests, especially the couch and one of Queen beds in the bedroom above the living room. We did not feel unsafe using them but were concerned about regular use causing further damage. The railing on the stairs closest to the front doors was also not secure, which did cause some concern.
Overall, this location was a great fit for our needs.

Dirty party rental
We stayed here with friends, hoping for a relaxing weekend, but this rental fell short in so many ways. The place was not clean—most of the couches and chairs had visible stains, and it felt like we were in desperate need of a deep clean. For a group of 8, we were surprised to find only 4 bath towels and a kitchen missing essential silverware, making meals a challenge.
The worst part? The unit next to us was rented out for a party both nights, and we were kept up until 2 a.m. This is definitely not a family-friendly rental. If you're looking for a quiet and comfortable stay, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
The location is probably the best, but also the worst thing about this location. We never had to drive very far to do all the stuff we wanted to do while staying in St. Louis. There are several good restaurants and a great cafe, within a few minutes walk. That being said, there was also a very loud nightclub just across the intersection near the condo that played insanely loud music weekend nights, esp Saturday. We played white noise and had ear plugs, so it was ok, but surprised that's allowed in a place with so many apartment buildings nearby. The condo itself is a renovated brownstone with lots of character. It was nice to have plenty of room for our family of 4 for the week. There is a well-lit spot for parking behind the building for 2 cars, first come first served. It's next to an overgrown empty lot and alleyway and one morning we found 3 empty, dumped out purses discarded not far from our car, obviously stolen, so we didn't feel it was safe to park back there after that. Parking on the street in front of the building was fine though- very well lit and busy enough. One thing that was a little embarrassing was that the grass in front of the building needed mowing badly. It would have taken someone like 10 minutes to mow but you could tell it hadn't been done in a long time. The back was nice- fenced w/ fake grass + seating, but also a lot of volunteer trees growing where they shouldn't be. Overall, they need better upkeep + attention to details, but clean.
The inside was very nice. The lawn could have been mowed on the outside. The pictures of the front door and the tv remote controls were not entirely accurate. The owner was great!
I'd say it's a nice area there where a few things that was outta place. For one there was a moldy coffee pot, dirt on soap dirt on sink n tub floors, as if someone trying to clean. It's like little holes on the floor and the mattresses where very loud and irritating made it hard to sleep..Loved the back area for my kids privacy, but it was like little trash behind the outside furniture .Other than that the host was very easy to get ahold of if we had any questions
Property nice- but don’t stay here last weekend of Pride Month unless you are attending event 1/2 block away. Could not sleep for noise that lasted until 3 am! Two nights in a row!

Just okay place. Got the job done but will stay elsewhere next time.
Location is great. Close to the things we wanted to see in St. Louis. Beds weren’t super comfortable, space was kind of tight for big groups. The space felt clean from cleaning person but didn’t feel super well kept up with maintenance wise. Grass needed cut, front door kick plate falling off, tile missing on bathroom floor, ect. Just small things. Didn’t affect our stay. The biggest con was the club across the street playing loud bass every night that you could for sure hear/feel over our box fans until around 3am. The outside area to hang out was awesome. You do share the outside area with the people staying next to you.
I’m going to start with the things we weren’t thrilled with, 1. Dan shouldn’t call a URL address, a “link”. When I messaged him to let him know the “links” weren’t working he kept sending the same URL address, over and over, which you have to copy and paste every time. 2. When I asked Dan for clarity, on the parking behind the home, he sent a URL address (again, not a link), which I had already seen. It would have been very simple, to just answer, my very simple question. When I told him his response wasn’t helpful, he thanked me and told me to message him, if I had any questions he might help with🤔
Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The home was very spacious and the backyard was great! The area was nice and very close to all the places we were interested in.

Nice
Checking in was a bit confusing as the address given was not the side I stayed in. It was smaller in person than on the pictures but overall the stay was nice, would book again.
Communicative and patient with us as first-time Vrbo users
This is evidence of us being new at Vrbo. We had no idea how payment worked and were quite flustered when we got text messages asking us to pay outside of the app. They were quite patient with us while we searched and called Vrbo to be sure it was legit (it was). When we arrived we were confused about the parking situation and they were once again patient and courteous with us in helping us to understand. Finally, I filled out most of this review when it first appeared on my phone but then it disappeared and I couldn’t find it again until just now when I received another email about it. I’m very impressed with the patience and courteousness of the owners.
The place itself was great. It was clean and well stocked. The beds were good. There was plenty of room for our family of six. The washer and dryer worked great.
There was a lot of light that came in through the blinds. I wish there had been some sort of blackout curtain in the bedrooms, especially the front-facing room.
Overall, this was the perfect place for us to stay while we explored St. Louis. Thank you!
Townhouse is super cool & historic. Our group had a great stay & enjoyed how easy it was to get places we wanted to visit while staying there. It is an old place so it's not perfect but it's really charming
