About this property

Lakefront AND on the MTB trails!

The Hidden Gem of NWA is a newly remodeled 3 bedroom 3 bath home in the heart of Bella Vista. The home features many one of a kind custom touches. 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths on the main floor - each have private balconies overlooking Lake Avalon. Enjoy coffee or happy hour in the serene screened-in porch. The amazing Tanyard Creek Nature Trail is < .5 mile hike away. Or hit the Little Sugar MTB/hike trails right from your doorstep! Impeccable location; < 15 min. to downtown Bentonville.

Our home offers a beautiful lake Avalon view. Enjoy morning coffee on the screened in porch overlooking the lake or walk down to the private dock and relax in the Adirondack chairs. If you’d like to get out on the water, the kayak or paddle board are available to take you over to the other side of the lake where the beach access is!

Remodeled walk-out basement overlooks the lake and features living room, bar area, full bath, and bedroom.

-Pack n Play, high chair, kid's toys/books, and baby gate available.
-Safe bike storage available
-Game table, with multiple board games downstairs
-2 TV's brand new in 2021

Guests have access to the entire house including the private dock.

Trail access ~100 yards right from the front door!!

Note: The driveway is steep! Especially if you’re not familiar with the Northwest Arkansas region you will find it quite steep (it’s normal for the area). Your vehicle is more capable than you think :) No one has ever had trouble getting up or down it. However, in the Winter months, if we have rare ice, we do advise parking “up top” and carefully walking down the driveway.

Other things to note
Bella Vista lakes, pools, the beach at Lake Avalon, and recreational facilities are all private for members and guests of members. Want to use these facilities? Let us know 48 hrs before your stay so we can properly get you guest passes.

Epic Lake House

Great Location! Kitchen and bathrooms are all updated. The process of check in/check out was very simple and we had an amazing experience with our family for our 1st trip to the area. We will be back to this property!

Lake Avalon

The property was beautiful! The pictures do not give it justice. We spent all of our time adventuring and fishing. The host was great to work with and sent us passes to enjoy the POA amenities as well. We can wait to go back.

Great location!

We had a wonderful stay! The water and amenities were great. Great easy hiking trails with views and a waterfall! Stocked kitchen, shampoo, conditioner and body wash were a bonus.

Lake house

We had a great weekend! The property was perfect for young kids. The kids loved jumping off the dock and it was an easy walk back to the house for naptime. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed, including kids’ toys. We will definitely be back!

Oklahoma golfers

We had a group of golfers from Oklahoma. The location was great. The property was great. Really enjoyed walking down to the dock in the evening and relaxing after a long day of golf. Highly recommend staying here.

Dreamy family lake stay

Cozy and refreshing, plenty of room to play, challenging but beautiful backyard for Flatlanders :). We learned how to paddle board and kayak and made friends with a family of foxes. The herons croaked at us in the evening and the birds sang us awake every morning. Everything was clean, comfortable and the space is divided perfectly for kids and adults. Great place to stay! Note, it is walkable to trails but you will have to bush which means bring chigger friendly pants and gear. The lake is the perfect size to kayak around and there are no motorboats. Just a dream!

Great location and lovely home.

We loved the location and the owners were so accommodating. Due to a tornado in the area we will need to return to see Crystal Bridges. We will stay here again if available for that trip.

Incredible Stay

We had a great stay at this place! It was perfect for our fam and it was so near the trails. A perfect getaway/retreat. The view is fantastic and the place was set up well with enough of everything to not have to pack your whole house to bring to your VRBO

Great Location, Good Little Spot

Annie was wonderful and easy to work with. The bike and hiking trails are super close and accessible at Tanyard Creek. The lake is really quiet and a bit small, but good for kayaking and paddle boarding. I would bring lake shoes for the dock and getting in the water.

Nice place with a lake

Nice place with decent layout. Beds were not real comfy and garage door was broken so we couldn’t secure the bikes really easy but I’m sure that is fixed now just wish they would have offered a tiny discount.

A walk back in time

This property truly felt like a walk back in time to our childhood on the lake with grandparents and close family friends. It was so special for my wife and I to take our kids and settle in on beautiful Lake Avalon for a week. Our kids loved it and we had rest and quality time together. The home has all the amenities you will need, comfortable beds, and plenty of hot water. The details were well thought out. Our hosts were responsive and helpful and incredibly friendly. I would rank this as one of our top home-away-from-home experiences we've ever had. You won't be disappointed in your stay.

Absolutely no complaints. Beautiful home, very clean and the owners have thought of every detail. Wonderful location. The house was perfect for two families. The kids enjoyed the downstairs space. And in the heat of the summer the house was a cool and comfortable home base for 5 days. We plan to stay here again! The owner was awesome!

Connecting with nature!

The Hidden Gem was so roomy, adorable and the perfect location to unplug and enjoy nature! It was right on the lake and so close to the coolest trails! The waterfall at Lanyard Creek was our favorite! It was also close to Bentonville so we explored a few days there, too! Annie was so helpful and responsive. Would 100% recommend!

Great Stay! Look no further!

Great house, great location. Best of both worlds that NWA has to offer, lake front and close to bike trails, and downtown Bentonville. House is in great shape and cozy, nice deck on the lake and lake toys in the garage to use. Has that lake house feel you look for. Quick and great comminution by the host. Will for sure be back!

We departed Kansas City and set out across the country to travel and find our favorite place in the U.S. Weren't we shocked to have found it < 3 hours away in NorthWest Arkansas! It is America's hidden gem and we can't get enough! Bella Vista is serene, nature-focused, family friendly, so easily accessible, and features some of the most fun mountain bike trails we've ever shredded! Not to mention the always-rad Bentonville is 15 minutes away. This property combines the best of all worlds.
