Didn’t stay

This property was not what I was looking for, this became apparent when we entered. Swamp cooler, not air conditioning. The beds were very high off the floor, making it too difficult for family member. Also didn’t realize that pet friendly meant pets had stayed there. Daughter had issues with the pet dander. I spoke to the owner and she refunded half of the cost since we didn’t stay. I have learned to ask more questions, not doing so caused me to spend more money than I would have. I was

Great Location

This was the perfect place for us to stay on our girls trip in the area. We had easy access to the wineries in the area, and the home was absolutely meticulous and comfortable during our stay.

Clean, updated, bright & cheery

The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was nice and cool. Comfortable beds. The traffic noise from the road in front was hardly audible inside and at night, it was not an issue at all. The driveway is even bigger & wider than the pictures show- plenty of room to park many cars & turn around off the road.

Convenient Location

This property was convenient to family who live in Redlands. Our group of 5 adults (three siblings and two spouses), visited Grand Junction to attend a wedding and this three bedroom house was perfect for staying together. Besides the wedding, we enjoyed shopping on Main Street and the delicious Dream Cafe - we highly recommend you eat there. We also drove through the National Park from Redlands to Fruita and stopped along the way for hikes around the lookout locations. Beautiful scenery and hikes for all skill levels.

Graduation weekend

This property was delightful. The home is bright and airy. It is clean and set up very nicely. The only negative is that it is located off of a busy road, so the traffic noise from the front bedroom was a bit loud. Everything else was wonderful!

About the host

Born and raised in Lima, Peru, I moved to the California Bay Area when I was 14. I finished High School, completed my undergrad and Master's, and started a business all in California until moving to Grand Junction in April of 2021. I was surprised at how quickly this town became home, and I'm enjoying exploring it!

Joining the Airbnb community was a plan my late fiancé and I made as soon as we moved to Colorado. It's now a reality I'm undertaking on my own in his memory.

In addition to this venture, I am a business coach who works with owners of construction companies to help them grow their businesses without becoming slaves to them. I also take on side consulting projects in the areas of strategy, marketing, and management.

In getting my Airbnb listings together, I find that I genuinely enjoy the furnishing and decorating aspects. I like paying attention to the many details involved in making people comfortable during their getaways.

I love to travel and know how important traveling is to recharge, share new experiences with loved ones, and make new friends. My goal is to provide a spectacular experience! I'm looking forward to being a host and hearing from you.

Enjoy your stay!
Marissa
