The Sparks Cottage at Blue Point Bay is your ideal beach getaway. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets over Lake Huron right in your backyard. Continue on to the beach for the day and take a swim, with the beach right of way conveniently right down the street. Due to high demand this listing is fully booked for Summer 2022, come see our other waterfront listing https://www.airbnb.com/h/sparksonthewater2

Located right on the water's edge, with a brand new composite deck to enjoy a (provided) coffee or tea while taking in the fresh lake breeze. Pack lightly because our kitchen is stocked. No need to worry about extra bedding or towels, we've got you covered.

Only a phone call or a text away. We will always make sure there is someone available to contact if you have any questions or concerns. All contact information is provided at the cottage.

Quiet, secluded and peaceful. Blue Point Bay is a lovely little neighbourhood with friendly cottagers and homeowners at every doorstep. Just a short drive in to the nearest towns if you're looking to venture out to see all the area has to offer. Upon arrival, our Welcome Binder will direct you to all our favourite local 'hot spots'.

Although we suggest soaking up as much lake time as possible, a car will be needed to get you to the nearest amenities, like restaurants, breweries, wineries and grocery stores.

Lovely stay

Property manager was very responsive when there were a couple things at our arrival that needed to be tended too. The location is awesome and great quality amenities. Perfect for family. Loved the fresh new towels and clean layout of the house. Wish the EV charger was more efficent so we could have explored more of the area (fingers crossed for our next stay here) but the rock beach felt like true Canadian summer ♡ and it was very private. We enjoyed our stay so much.

A great place to stay!

Our Thanksgiving at Sean and Jill's cottage was an absolute dream. As we stepped inside, we were welcomed by a cozy haven that instantly felt like a home away from home. The cottage's attention to detail in decor and impeccable cleanliness impressed us. The well-equipped kitchen made our Thanksgiving meal preparations a joy, and the picturesque surroundings were a treat for our eyes and souls. We enjoyed leisurely walks and hikes, even spotting local wildlife, adding an element of adventure to our holiday. What truly made this experience extraordinary was the owner's warm hospitality. They went out of their way to ensure our comfort, offering invaluable local recommendations for activities and dining, which enhanced our stay. It was clear that they genuinely cared about our experience. We left with hearts full of gratitude and treasured memories. If you're seeking a peaceful and charming holiday getaway, look no further. We wholeheartedly recommend this cottage. Thank you to Sean and Jill for making our Thanksgiving retreat a memorable and heartwarming experience. We can't wait to return to this idyllic retreat.

Beautiful cottage but a few shortcomings

Our family of 5 adults with one visually impaired and our two dogs had a four day/three nights stay here. Things we were very pleased with: cottage is up to date, wonderful Endy mattresses, looks brand new and 11/10 for cleanliness, quiet location, large rooms, large grassy area, lovely water view, good air conditioner Some things that were disappointing: things were not always as advertised. No privacy in the backyard (no fence for dogs), fire pit but no firewood provided (didn’t say in ad), no side tables or lamps in 2 rooms, no hairdryer(When we contacted the host, he said he’d bring one, but never showed), beautiful white towels but no beach towels, no fly swatter and yellow jackets had a nest over the front door, sometimes making their way inside(Host said he’d send pest control but that didn’t happen) kitchen was stocked with dishes/pots but no Saran/foil or salt! It is located on the edge of a beautiful wooded cliff and the beach access is a long set of stairs to a very very rocky beach area that was not accessible for any of us but the young and those wearing heavy duty footwear. We chose to drive to Ipperwash which was only 20 minutes away and absolutely a perfect beach. Most of these things could have been fixed with a trip to a store but we were only there for two days. We would have brought these things from home if we had known. Again, the cottage was beautiful but just pack the extras and don’t expect to swim off their very rocky beach.
