We had a great stay with family and our dog. There was ample room for parking, the house was clean, and it was close to Fishtown, the sand dunes, and plenty of wineries.
Overall a great winter stay at the Cherry Hill house. Perfect quiet location to get to wineries, Sleeping Bear, Suttons Bay, Leland. House was clean and has everything needed. Plenty of space for 2 families with a dog. We would recommend to anyone looking for a nice spot in Leelanau county.
The Cherry Hill House was the perfect launch point for our golf trip. The location provided great proximity to a number of great courses, as well as Leeland, Glen Arbor and Cedar.
The Cherry Hill House is located in a very quiet, country location and was very clean and well maintained. The communication from the owners was proactive and very helpful!
We were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect place for my family and the pups to stay! House was clean and the yard was perfect. We were in a good location to explore many areas. Had such a great time!
My husband and I stayed for a long weekend and it was great! The house was super clean and it was very secluded and quiet, which is important to us. Communication with the host was great. Only note is that all bedrooms are upstairs and the only bathroom up there is through the main bedroom, so that could be awkward for multiple couples, but was great for just my husband and I and would be fine for a family with small children. Kitchen was stocked with everything we could need. The WiFi was sufficient, which is not always the case in this part of the peninsula. Would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay! Beautiful fall scenery all around and a short drive to most places. The house was well stocked with toiletries and everything we needed to cook simple meals. It worked out perfectly for our family of 4. Host was available via email throughout our stay and was helpful!
This provided a comfortable home base for our family gathering. Exactly what we needed for our multigenerational crowd. We hosted dinner at the house, met up with family staying elsewhere on the peninsula, and easily drove from the house to the lake and other attractions. And at the end of the day, we got to crash in this comfy home.
The home was clean and offered plenty of outside seating, fire pit and grill. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals.
A winery was within 1.5 miles, Traverse city within 30 minutes and Leeland within 15 minutes. Great location.
Our host was easy to communicate with and very responsive.
This house was near perfect for our family. Had one issue where the oven had a horrible smell, vome to find out it was from just being cleaned. Host left us a bottle of wine to make up for that experience. Only other suggestion for host is to leave behind a little more in paper products (only one extra roll of TP per bathroom when we had 5 guests for a full week), one one extra roll of paper towel and no napkins.
Everything was great and Robin responded quickly to any questions or concerns promptly. The house was very clean. My only problem was the 2 bedrooms were very hot to the point where we slept on air mattresses and the pull out bed downstairs where there was cool air. There are ceiling fans in both rooms but not enough to cool anything down and sleep. So bring some fans of it's summer.
