This home well exceeded our expectations, we were hoping that it just looked as good as the description and pictures. All I can say is the home simply blew us away, it was Perfect in every way!
We gathered here from OH TN and NC for a family reunion near Bristol. We absolutely loved the amount of space, amenities and piano room. Massive kitchen and all the things we needed for cooking and eating for a large group was so nice. Not a tv in the place was pretty cool. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay. Wrap around balconies, games, books you name it, the whole family enjoyed their stay.
We celebrated my father’s 80th birthday in Nickelsville at this inn. We needed at least seven bedrooms to accommodate everyone and this place was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. The location was very clean. There were plenty of bathrooms and a well-stocked kitchen. Nickelsville is a very small town, but we really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and friendly people. Teddy’s Diner is a quick walk up the street with great food and conversation. The Copper Kettle Bakery is equally close and has some of the best danishes and scones we have ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
A beautiful property with room for everyone. There were 18 in our company and we never felt crowded! The beds and bedding they spared no expense on just like high class hotel. Several have back and hip issues and the beds were so comfortable no one could complain even after driving 12 hrs. Dollar general is convenient for anything you might forget to pack. Quiet town in the mountains convenient to some lovely attractions. We made some beautiful memories with our family in this historic boarding house. No TV but we didn’t miss it… made memories instead. Excellent cell phone reception on Verizon with or without their wifi. Highly highly recommend! I’d love to return.
We were going to the race in Bristol, TN and needed a place for 12 people. We had plenty of room, everyone had their own space and bathroom. The front porch was so welcoming! The town is so cute! Everyone was really nice. We went to the small diner just down the road and we also visited the Dollar General for a few groceries. Really, everything you could need is available within walking distance. The house was stocked with board games and little extras (toothbrushes, snacks, coffee bar items). The best part was the only thing we had to do upon leaving was turn down the A/C. Such a relaxing stay. Heads up...there are no TVs. At first we were shocked, but the wifi was great so the younger kids could log into their devices. But not having a TV gave us time to really visit and that was an added bonus. Would def recommend!!
