Nice Valentine’s Getaway

Really enjoyed staying here. The cabin was so nice and comfy. Enjoyed all the amenities during our stay. From the hot tub to grilling some lamb chops. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Ruby Ridge (IPigeon Forge)

We enjoyed our stay. Nice cabin! Perfect for me and my wife and our dog. We even had a family of bears come up. They hung out very briefly and then they were on their way. They kept their distance. As did we. :) ONLY negative thing we experienced (which isn’t owner’s fault) It is the mountains. Ha! We have a medium sized truck. It was a challenge to get out when we left the cabin for something. I wouldn’t suggest anything bigger than a medium size truck. A car would be ideal. We have an extended cab 2022 Ford Ranger, and it wasn’t easy getting out. So if you have a car, I’d suggest driving it there instead of truck.

This little cabin had everything we needed! Cute, comfortable, and inviting; I didnt want to leave. The screened in back porch occupied most of our time, from the evening soak in the hot tub, to watching the sun rise whilst sipping coffee. I cant wait to book again!

Great little spot!

I was on a quick getaway by myself. The cabin was exactly as pictured, clean, and everything in working order. The area was beautiful and even though it was a "neighborhood" of rental cabins, it was quiet and this particular cabin is on a small dead end road with just 3 other cabins and they are situated in a way that you don't realize you are in a neighborhood. The hot tub was relaxing, the bed and couch were both comfy, and the kitchen had everything I needed. Communication with the host was thorough and timely. The ONLY piece of advice i can give bedsides "book this place" is be careful if you have a large truck or SUV. Parking is very tight and honestly there's nothing they could do to fix it, so just be aware.

Cozy with plenty of room inside

Great little getaway. Very quiet and private even though there are 4 or 5 cabins on the same private driveway. I can definitely see how a larger truck, van, or SUV would have a hard time parking off the driveway or turning around, so I appreciate the heads-up by another reviewer. There is space in between the first 2 cabins to turn around if you do have a larger vehicle. If your GPS takes you up Lake View Lane to turn Right onto Ridgecrest, the driveway is the first one on the right and this cabin is the second one from the end. Only stayed a couple of nights. Entry was easy. Temperature inside was simple to control and worked well for a hot summer. Wifi was strong. Roku on TVs had plenty of shows to watch and ability to sign in and log out of your own accounts on other apps. Ate off site so didn’t use the kitchen except for our own snacks and drinks in the fridge, but very ample size appliances and counters to easily make regular meals if desired. Plenty of towels & wash cloths and was pleasantly surprised with a stacked washer / dryer unit in one of the closets. Cozy couch. Comfy bed. Relaxing hot tub. All very clean. Quick access to different parts of Pigeon Forge, Wears Valley, etc. on the backroads. Would definitely stay here again!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Please do yourself a major favor and DO NOT stay here! The pictures look great and I was so excited to book a romantic getaway for me and my husband for his birthday. I initially booked 13th-15th. The owner sent me a text to my phone saying day before & after no one had booked & he could give me a super great rate, so I booked Thurs as well & Venmoed requested rate for that night. We didn't arrive till around 10:30 that night and quickly realized the inside wasn't exactly as the pictures had promised. It was pretty dingy looking and a lot older than the pics portrayed. When we entered the bedroom, the mattress was so lumpy that you could immediately tell before even pulling back the covers. There were huge lumps in the mattress and the sheets were so old they were worn in several places. The sheets & pillows smelled very musty & when we sat on the bed, it made loud creaking noises with every little movement...up all night. We were so exhausted, it was so late, & we had brought our two small goldendoodles that we really had no choice but to go ahead & stay there for the night. I went to restroom right quick & hit button for jets in tub instead of light. Water shot out & the smell was so bad we gagged. TV didn't work. Firepit over halfway rusted out. Owner offered to have someone change sheets like that would help. Only received a very small refund of total even though we left the next morning. Owner argued and said my complaints were minor. DON'T STAY HERE! AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!
