Relaxing in the mountains is my "happy place". Come up and enjoy the mountain air!

Why they chose this property

This vintage cabin is a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the mountain air. Great for family gatherings. Guests say "This has been the best place I have ever stayed!" The cabin is well stocked with the perfect blend of rustic and modern convenience with an added personal touch. Take in the view and enjoy nature from inside the cabin or on the deck. Located close to Palomar Observatory and Palomar State Park, a great location for hiking, biking or sledding and snow shoeing in winter.

What makes this property unique

The original cabin was built in 1923 which includes the living room. You will see the modern room additions which make up the spacious 1400 sq ft. cabin. The wood facade, stone fireplace, wood floors and paneling are made from local area resources. While these things make the cabin unique, the blend of rustic and modern amenities make it comfortable for families and friends.
-Three bedrooms and two bathrooms provide plenty of space. The additional day bed allows for more guests. Bedrooms are private with views of 80 ft. tall incense cedars in every direction.
-The wood deck provides a quiet place to enjoy the outdoors, elevated to eye level with the trees and natural setting. Relax and enjoy grilling or roasting marshmallows at the fire pit.
