Located in a historic Summerland initially built in 1844 and thoughtfully updated by the current owner, this space features spectacular coastal views overlooking the ocean and the Channel Islands.

The two bedrooms provide sleeping for seven (one bedroom is fully private with a queen bed and a day bed, while the other has a curtain door, bunk beds, and ocean views). The spacious kitchen and dining area are great for sharing meals with family and friends.

The great room includes lots of space, a comfortable seating area, a dining area overlooking the town of Summerland and the ocean, a TV/game area, a workspace, and a yoga corner (or dance floor for the kids!).

You will have private access to the entire space and outdoor deck with spots for dining and lounging.

Beautiful beach loft in Summerland

This upper-level apartment space is clean, nicely furnished, and has beautiful views of the ocean and Santa Cruz Island! The beds were very comfortable, and there is plenty of dining and lounging space for a big family. The kitchen was very convenient, and it was great to have some barstools in there. There is a big TV with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc., and there are several games to play (including chess). Out on the patio, there are comfortable chairs and tables so you can enjoy morning coffee, an afternoon snack, or even just the ocean view. There is only one bathroom in the unit, but that is not too big of a deal considering all of the “positives” this unit has to offer, such as the convenient location right near cafes and shops in Summerland. Also, this place is right across the street from the beach and a great little park; you can walk there in literally 2-3 minutes. One thing you should know in advance: The unit is right near the 101 Freeway, so there is a bit of road noise when sitting outside on the patio — but again, the ocean views are incredible! Also, checking in and communication with the host was very convenient. I would definitely recommend this place to families who are seeking a relaxing beach stay in Summerland.

Perfect for family

We enjoyed our stay. Host was excellent. Loved the unit had central AC. Plenty of room for a family. Clean. New. Plenty of parking. Nice view. Nice outdoor seating area. Wish that it had a BBQ outside. It does not. Also; Julia the assistant never replied on how to turn on the oven. Otherwise; excellent and we would recommend.
