Serene and quiet, you'll love this humble home right by the calming waters of Lake Tahoe. Pack up your favorite bathing suit and swing on by Ed Z'Berg Sugar Pine Point State Park and set up on the sandy shores with a beach towel and a good book. Gaze out at the mountains in the distance and enjoy this one-in-a-lifetime vista of Lake Tahoe and take in its turquoise waters as you dip your feet in the tides. Truckee River Rafting is less than six miles out where you can bring your family and friends and ride down the winding rivers in this incredible rafting experience!

Guests will also have access to the exclusive Tahoe Pines dock as well as a kayak. Relax on the family/dog-friendly Tahoe Pines beach with loved ones and enjoy a sunny day out. Take a trip to the top of Eagle Rock, just a mile out from your vacation rental. Also available in the summer/fall is the gorgeous Tahoe Pines Gnome Village, tucked right near Barker Creek. The trail that leads up to the village is a local hotspot and a fan favorite of families. Play some fun yard games out on the leveled-out and large lawn, or take a much-needed nap in the hammock that rests in between the aspen trees. There's a private balcony as well that gives you the best seating around for a fantastic view of the sunset. Let the morning sun shine onto your skin on the back deck or rest for a while under the shade.

Inside this sweet home away from home, you'll be glad to see its welcoming wooden interior decor, giving it an instant classic cabin-like feel. From the forest-inspired furnishings to the full island kitchen, there's a little bit of something for everyone! Whip up a hearty meal for all of your guests. Take a walk out into the woods nearby and stroll alongside nature as the snow gently falls. Return back to your vacation rental and warm up beside the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa in your hands as you huddle by its warmth huddled in a soft blanket. Relax your muscles and let yourself doze off into dreamland.

Charming and warm

Such a well thought out property. Lovingly restored with lots of wood. The heated bathrooms (toilet seats and floors in addition to central air) were a nice touch.

Loved this sweet cabin in the woods

This is a lovely little cabin that has been renovated in a thoughtful manner. It's situated amongst beautiful aspen trees which were just turning during our stay. We had two dogs with us who had an excellent time too! Great location, close to the lake and near Eagle Rock trail and the Gnome Forest. The home was very clean and comfortable and it worked out well for our family, which included a newborn. Thank you so much for our stay and perhaps we'll return during ski season.

Fun end of summer vacation

We loved the house, it has a big yard. We brought cornhole and played most evenings. Only complaint is the two double beds should be upgraded to queen size. Way too small for two adults to sleep in. Also the bbq should be upgraded. The location was perfect, near Homewood Marina where we launched our boat. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute house. Nice location

The house worked fine for 3 guests. Upgraded bathrooms. Some minor details need attention, such as a washing machine full of wet linens on our arrival, not enough pillows, very soft king mattress. Met our needs and had easy access to nice trails and beach.

Great property and Location

Property was clean and had everything you could need. Outside is a great space for kids to run around. Location is a short walk to beach. Of note is this location has zero cell coverage so you will be dependent on wifi which was on/off during our stay. Wonderful place to disconnect.

Family vacation

We loved the location of the cabin and the setting. Unfortunately the King bed frame upstairs was broken and we had to take it apart and to sleep with the mattress on the floor. By the time management company was able to send someone out to look at it was our last night. I believe it should be replaced, the condition of the box spring were pretty disgusting as well. We also had issue with clean linen, old bed pillows and towels very old and stained. I went to wash them myself but the housekeeping must have forgot to leave any laundry pods for us and again management company didn't come through with a solution until our last day. It's unfortunate because the house itself is awesome so if owner would replace the bed and purchase new bed pillows throughout and new linens this place would a great place to rent.

Great Location

Overall, we had a great weekend staying in this charming home. My husband and I came with another couple for 2 nights. Although, it’s 3 bedrooms it felt comfortable for 4 people and not sure if anyone else would fit at the dining table or on the living room furniture that was on the smaller side. We loved the location above all else. A quick walk right down the street to the Tahoe pines beach and dock! We loved taking the kayak out here for a relaxing afternoon. We also enjoyed the eagle rock hike nearby. Only a 10 minute drive to Meeks Bay for a sandy beach, and less than that to eat dinner at Sunnyside. We loved sitting out on the cute front porch, it’s a quiet street and such an oasis. Would recommend this spot to a small group or family looking for a relaxing weekend!

Warm Updated Home

We stayed during the 2nd week of April. There was still snow, but the roads were clear, which made it a lot easier to drive to and from the Palisades. The home itself, is really nice. Kitchen and bathrooms are all updated with heated bathroom floors and toilets. The heater kept the whole home warm. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of pillows and blankets. Kitchen was stocked with pot/pans, dishes, and plenty of utensils, and a dishwasher. We are a family of four and it was a good size for us. Are only beef was the cleaners not showing up until checkin time to clean (4pm). We did let Vacasa know, but clearly not much can be done but wait until they finished.

Short and sweet

Great location. Short walk to lake and hiking trails. Master bedroom was large! Biggest bummer was no bbq as advertised. Brought 3 meals that I planned to grill! TVs were great and easy to use!

Miracle March

We got lucky and visited right after a huge snow storm. Although we could see anything but snow. The house was warm and the extra amenities were great. It was close to Palisades resort. House was recently remodeled. Perfect for the two of us and our dog. The cabin might be tight in the living area for big families but during the summer it’s probably not a problem. Not much to do with 8ft of snow around, unless you’re a skier or snowboarder. I would return for summer and I bet it’s beautiful.

Beautiful dog- friendly cabin

Cabin was beautifully remodeled. The heated floors and heated toilet seats were a nice touch. One smoke alarm was chirping upon arrival and we had to remove the battery to get it to stop. The property was missing a couple of amenities that would have been nice (salt and pepper, kitchen towels, napkins, tissues, and extra rolls of toilet paper as we almost ran out). Great location just minutes from the lake, comfortable beds and being dog friendly was a major plus!

The Bear’s Den lives up to its name

Nice small house recently renovated. Everything inside appears to be new. Great location at the end of a one lane private road. Big lot with large front yard, but be aware that there are Bears in the neighborhood. Never leave food in your car or boat and don’t leave the house door open very long. They have a good bear electric fence on the home but you need to use it. Overall a great experience and very comfortable home. We loved it.

Quiet Tahoe Retreat

So quiet. Great views and walks right from the cabin. The beach is lovely, again just a walk away. Nice kitchen, as we like to stay home and cook and read. The deck was our go-to spot. We loved this cabin and will return.

Dirty and Exposed

The day prior we were told we would receive the address, wifi and passcode to get into the house. We received all but the passcode to get into house. We arrived early and the text message we first received communicated we could request to check in early. Sadly we had confusing communication with poor English grammar and was only able to contact because we had received the wifi password. If we hadn’t we would have had no service and would have needed to travel elsewhere to communicate. We thought the booking was through VRBO but it is actually through Vacasa. Once we got through to someone it was hard to understand their grammar. They said things in a very maybe manner and it took several times of asking for clarification. We never received the passcode to get into the house. We had to call again after check in time. Again confusion with language barrier of asking for the passcode for the master box with the house key, that took several minutes. Once we finally got in the house, we noticed it had not been cleaned thoroughly. All the towels were damp. The floors had not been swept or mopped. Stove top was dirty. Bottom bedroom sheets were dirty/stained. Left only two rolls of toilet paper, that is not enough for a full house and a week. The kitchen only had 2 towells. Kitchen is not fully stocked. Has very basic spices. All of the windows do not have covers (bedrooms and bathrooms). But we loved the place minus the above.
