This was a great place to stay. The only downside we had was in the early morning, some of our group would get up really early. No matter how quiet they were it would wake us up in the bedrooms. Overall, a great stay.
GoldenHour home was absolutely perfect for our family wedding weekend! It was exactly how described . Very spacious and clean. It was the perfect home to hold a small rehearsal dinner with family. Very spacious and kitchen had everything we needed . Loved the back deck with fire place . Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home.
This house had so many great things about it. Large and spacious. Wonderful kitchen, fed 25 people for a small event. Quiet neighborhood. Safe neighborhood. Close to Luray Walmart & restaurants. Close to Shenandoah park entrance. Beautiful setting. Lovely cows to look at. Cool train the kids loved to watch go by. All the appliances worked great. Hot showers & toilets & sinks worked well. Honestly the only downside was the beds were not very comfortable. But that’s kind of important. So I hope they work on that. I would def stay there again. We enjoyed the park so much. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to and enjoyed all the trails.
This is a fabulous place to stay in Luray. Easy access to Shenandoah NP. Downtown is just a mile away and has plenty of after hike food trucks (fabulous food) and a brewery, distillery, winery, speakeasy and more.
This home is clean, spacious and well stocked. Owners responded quickly. Loved it and would stay again. 10/10
The place was great but it was definitely smaller than the pictures made it look and the wood floor had a lot of bubbles in it. Overall, it was great and worked perfectly for us though. Really enjoyed having a full kitchen.
all as advertised. convenient to Shenandoah NP, clean, spacious property. easy to find and access. appreciated access to laundry. beds & sofas not super comfortable. plastic bedliners were noisy. couldn't find a wine opener but there should be one there now! :) thanks.
We had 5 people in total stay at the house for the Luray Triathlon. The house is located 10 minutes from the park which was a huge convenience. The house was ready at 4 PM as check in mentioned. The house is large and there was more then enough room for us. The kitchen was as described and included some coffee and water. The remainder of the interior of the house was very clean and upkept. There did seem to be a slight odor as if a smoker lived there at once, but it wasn't horrible. My only complaints had to do with the outside area and the basement. Outside there is no walkway to get to the front door. This is the only place you can get in the house initially. This wouldn't been too bad but the grass was rather overgrown. The overgrown grass also didn't make the fireplace outside too appealing. While this wasn't a necessity to use, it was a promoted item that wasn't pleasant to use. Additionally, on the patio the umbrella looked like it had gone through a tornado. It was mangled and unusable. In the basement it was mentioned a ping pong table was available. When we arrived the table was broken with half of it on the floor. These items weren't the reason I was staying here, however they are mentioned as amenities but were unusable. Overall I would recommend the location if going to Luray or participating in the triathlon as it's an ideal location.
Excellent location. Pretty home with clean kitchen. Spacious. House has a musty odor throughout. Have to air out my suitcase because it smells like the house now. Book instructs renters to turn AC off when leaving so I suspect there is no AC on at all when the house is unoccupied. This can cause the musty odor and it will likely become worse over time. Unfortunate, because I would rent it again next year if it were not for this issue.

Nice and quiet
The house.
Was newly remodeled, but it was not as expected. The remodel was cheaply done and the floor was not good at all. the paintJob in the bathroom was not very good. The neighborhood is fantastic and it's very quiet other than there's a train in the front yard that goes by. It went by twice during our one night stay. There are no animals on the property in the listing. Makes it seem like there are animals on the property.
Clean and comfortable home close to Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns. Enjoyed coffee on the porch watching the cows in the field.
