10 acres of freedom on your way into the Hills. Situated just 3 miles from town, The Hocking Cottage is perfectly placed for day trips out to the caves (7 miles), and other trips into the city center of Logan.

With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, this navy abode boasts high speed Spectrum internet, 70" smart tv, hot tub, good cell coverage, gas log and electric fireplaces, washer/dryer, and a video game/arcade room. 

On the main level you'll find 2 queen bedrooms and 1 full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Kitchen, main living area with 70" smart-tv, and the electric fireplace are all on this level. 

In the basement you'll find a lower level seating area with gas log fireplace, and a separate bedroom with 2 twin beds. A toilet and sink are next to the bedroom and a separate shower can be found through the arcade. Access to washer/dryer is on the lower level. We also feature a foosball table, poker table, and board games.

Outdoor charcoal grill and dining for the entire group can be found right off the back steps. The four-person hot tub and a fire pit under the stars is just beyond that.

Max of 6 adults/children for family stays. For adult-only stays: all guests must be over age 25.

Completely renovated and newly remodeled, The Hocking Cottage features 10 acres of freedom on your way into the Hills. Situated just 3 miles from town, the cottage is perfectly placed for day trips out to the caves (7 miles), and other trips into the city center of Logan.

The Hocking Cottage is set up for a maximum of 6 adults/children for your family's perfect escape.

For adult-only stays: all guests must be over age 25.

We had a fantastic stay! Cottage was in a great spot. Close to hiking and restaurants. Everything was very clean and wonderful options for the adults and kids to keep busy. Nice game room with TV downstairs in the basement and comfortable family room upstairs. Stocked with kitchen essentials was a helpful benefit as well.

Just what we needed!

Owning a business this past 6 years has been nothing short of chaotic! The hours have been crazy, the schedules have been all over the place, and juggling all of that while also trying to juggle raising three kids and make sure they keep their schedules in order only adds to the chaos. They had their spring break and I decided to pull the trigger on an impromptu getaway for a few days. We wanted to get away and just enjoy some peace and quiet, relax, and spend time together as a family, and this place was the perfect place for us. Quiet area but close to both the town, and the caves! Board games, movies, arcades, and more to fill our time and just get to enjoy time that we don’t always seem to get with the busy-ness of life. It was a great way to end their spring break. Clean home, enough area to move around and have our own areas. Just what we needed!

Why they chose this property

Convenience factor really came into play when we selected this whole house renovation. It's on the way to the caves, and yet close enough to a coffee shop, petting zoo, and town for any significant needs or desires.

What makes this property unique

While this isn't a traditional cabin feel, this fully renovated space is ideal for your family getaway. A game room in the lower level, privacy in the back yard, and a bit of country feel just outside of the city limits.
