In our residential "non-gated & non-55+") neighborhood, we are honored to welcome guests to our unique & quintessential “Lovingly-Furnished CottageStudio”. It will be your cozy-private guest-quarters of our sprawling "Manor style" residential home, located near everything in Surprise. It is located just minutes to the new 303 Freeway. CottageStudio is uniquely quiet & private in a secluded neighborhood setting. It has been a full 5-star awardee for15 years on VRBO. We are Dr. Catherine Krings (Physician at Best Care Internal Med) & John Krings (retired aviator, available to greet you on Facebook) . Our guest policy for new guests requires a get-acquainted dialogue as part of our confirming your booking through vrbo. This dialogue will assure our ability to fully accommodate your every need, and of course the dialogue assures security both ways. To enable our dialogue, we suggest you scroll down to (contact host) or select the blue "Request to book" key on vrbo, and scroll down to the customary "Agree ... etc and from there you will be able to see our "House rules & Policies" and other details. Fond Memories

My husband and I stayed at this lovely casita for the month of January. We are lucky enough to find John and Cathie to be the most wonderful, kind and helpful owners. The communication was spot on. They just want us to be comfortable. The location is central for shopping and golf. It’s in a safe and quiet neighbourhood. The casita is large, clean and we had everything we need from wifi, TV, a new full size fridge, toaster over, hot plates and a electric frying pan..etc. We now called John and Cathie friends. Five stars hands down. We can’t wait to be back.

Great Place!

This cottage is a great place to stay is perfect for any budget. The cottage has all the amenities you could ask for and the owners are excellent. Location is superb, close to restaurants, groceries and even a pharmacy. Check-in/out was a breeze, owners are willing to work with you and will do what is needed to satisfy. Thank you!

Amazing stay

I stayed with John and Cathy for 2 months and had no problems at all! I stayed there while looking for a home for rent for my family and I as we just relocated from California. John was super helpful with anything that I needed and just always willing to help and was like a second dad while I was there. He went out of his way to replaced the fridge TWICE just to ensure it was a perfect fit for mine and future stays. He truly cares about his guest and it was much appreciated as I was by myself for the majority of my stay. If he didnt see me or hear from me he always sent a text just to check in. His family even went out of their way to make me a to go plate on Mother's Day! Truly amazing people and I highly recommend their casita! THANK YOU JOHN AND CATHY FOR EVERYTHING!!! You both are amazing and I will be talking to you soon Im sure!

Pleasant Retreat

The hosts were very gracious and accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the Casita. It met all my needs for my month long stay in the area. It is close to shopping and other activities, and I was well within a short drive to meet with friends and family. Because I like to walk, there are convenient walking trails for exercise. I am happy to recommend this property in Bell West Ranch.

Perfect Stay

Wonderful experience and lodging! As a traveling healthcare professional for over 3 years this is the best location I’ve ever stayed! Comfortable, homey environment in a very nice neighborhood with plenty of stores and a gym right around the corner. I couldn’t have been more pleased to stay here with the Krings!

good vacation

This is the fourth January/February that we stayed in the Phoenix area. This is the nicest area. Very convenient to shopping and churches. John and Kathy are hospitable and helpful. The weather was cooler than previous years. Would recommend this rental to others.

Fabulous!!

Just like being in my own home. They provided all the accommodations that were needed and they provided a friendly environment. I was very pleased to find this accommodation. If I ever need a place to live temporarily in the future. I hope they be as good as they were. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a temporary residence.

House is in a nice quiet neighborhood in Surprise, Az. Close to a lot of shopping, restaurants etc. John and Cathy are very nice people. They actually invited me to Thanksgiving dinner!

Very comfortable space, well appointed.

Very comfortable space with a queen size bed, kitchenette area, dining table, two comfortable couches, good lighting and a separate bathroom. Air conditioner quiet and effective. Great space for a couple. Decor warm, inviting and peaceful. Very quiet area. No public transport in the Phoenix/Surprise area so really need a car. Reasonable price, cleaning deposit fully refunded on the morning of our departure as we left the premises as we found them - neat and tidy. John and Cathy were both pleasant and welcoming. Had a few chats with John who has some interesting stories to tell. Highly recommended.

Perfect cottage accommodatons

Exceptional Service

The casita was everything we expected and Cathy and John's willingness to accommodate any requests was outstanding and very much appreciated. Adding an outside grilling area was much appreciated as we ate half our meals at home. We will recommend this casita to anyone interested in staying in the area.

Highly recommended!!!

Stayed there for 3 weeks in September 2014. I was very impressed with the place. It was much better than I expected; very nice, clean, spacious and close to everything. Queen size bed, nice size bathroom and a kitchenette (although I did not use it but it's there!) lol. John and Cathy are 2 of the most wonderful people I've ever met. They're very pleasant, positive, helpful and warm. They welcome you with open arms and make your stay there as pleasant as possible. You just wish there were more people like them in the world. They definitely belong in the top 10% of the nicest people I have ever met ;).

I loved the cottage. It was everything described

Nice, quiet, PERFECT!

This studio provided all the comforts of home.

When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. It provided a small kitchenette so we were able to eat some meals in. Clean, comfortable, relaxing atmosphere, with a very comfortable queen size bed. Very convenient to the 303 loop, groceries, restaurants and other shops found on Bell Road. We enjoyed pleasant walks each morning along the walking trails in the vicinity. Played golf a few days, early in the morning to beat the heat, ate great Mexican food at Macayo's, restaurant, enjoyed Stone Cold Creamery, and caught a couple of movies at the Digiplex theatre. John and Cathy were warm and inviting hosts and we would highly recommend a stay with them.

Very Nice Cottage Studio
