First appearance made us question our choice. The front yard looked like it hadn't been mowed in 2 months. Inside was nice and comfortable. The two that slept in the street side bedrooms side that the noise from the street kept them awake all night.
The house was a terrific place for our family to stay at! We have a larger family presence in Richland but not enought rooms! This was spacious and comfortable for my crew!
Our hosts were amazing and very gracious when we realized a mistake we made in our reservation. They quickly helped us make the necessary changes. The house was spacious and comfortable.
We had a wonderful 2 day stay at the Goldmine. It's very conveniently located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The house was very spacious for the four of us and the dog. The kitchen is new and well appointed.
We'll be back when we visit Kennewick again.
This home is very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Only downside is the backyard, which has a renovation project going that takes up most of the yard space. We stayed only one night, so the backyard project wasn’t really an issue for us. We’d definitely stay here again. The property manager was super easy to get hold of when we had a little problem getting the front door unlocked.
This house met our needs, but when we arrived the house had not been cleaned from previous guests. When called, the owner quickly got a cleaning team over after saying she thought we were due the next day.So you might confirm a day or two before to avoid this.It would be helpful if the cleaning crew detail included a sweep of the back yard from previous dogs. We ended up picking up after multiple previous dogs in the yard.
We broke our journey home with a night in Kennewick and had a very pleasant sta. The beds and furniture were comfortable with plenty of room for our party of four. Our host's communication
We were all very happy with this property! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, everything was clean, attractive, and nice. The design of the kitchen, living room, and dining room allowed family to be together and have plenty of room. Recommended!
This propert was perfect for our group! The property owners were quick to respond and resolve minor issues. Adults might want to reconsider using the office for sleeping unless you prefer extra extra firm.
Mikes property is one of the best we have stay with the family. Our trip to Kennewick was just for the weekend for Graduations in Walla Walla. The drive to Kennewick is well worth it. Beutiful house. Very clean and equiped with what a family would need to feel home
Thanks Mike

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
Great location amd property however
This was booked for a work trip...upon atrival at least one of the beds didnt seem to have clean sheets/bedding to a point a coworker wouldnt even sleep in the sheets....there was hair ins9de of them....the checkout instructions usually ask guests to strip the bedding this one simply says to fold down the sheets....which leads us to beilve if bedding is even washed between stays...reguardless we stripped the bedding ourselves to hopefully ensure the cleaners washed it all...othwr then that it was not a horrible stay
A lovely well equipped home. The back yard could use some upkeep and maintenance. But it was still enjoyable to sit in the morning and enjoy some coffee.
The king room bed was very comfy and the bedding was lovely. Nice cotton sheets! It was very nice being able to have the dogs in a safe space. (They stayed in their crates while we were gone). It’s very clear that a lot of care and thought has been put into the furnishings, layout and aesthetics of the home.
House itself was nice due to recent face-lift remodel. New cabinets, new appliances, new counter tops, open concept, decent furniture thru out. Good bathroom remodels. Nice neighborhood close to shopping and restaurants at Columbia Center area.
Host was quick to respond, accurate, and very easy to work with - Five Stars for him.
I'm taking off one star because of the unfinished back yard 'project', the ugly 6-foot chain link fence across the entire back yard that wrecks an otherwise great view of the river; and general lack of upkeep on the yard. These are all fixable.
Would be a good place for a large group.

Disappointed
The pictures of the property were beautiful but did not accurately reflect the conditions of the property during our stay in February 2024. The house appeared clean but areas around and under furniture were dirty and included belongings from previous visitors. The furniture was flimsy and broken in places, such as the living room couch and some bedroom furniture. The back yard is completely torn up and there was no 'safety fence' as advertised. The home is in a good location and clearly underwent a thoughtful renovation before being converted to a short-term rental. Most troubling, there were two foreclosure notices posted on the door on two separate days during our stay. When contacted, the manager/owner stated they were unaware of the problem and were sure it was a mistake. However, the posting of such notices are not the first steps in a foreclosure but rather represent repeated unsuccessful attempts to get a mortgagee to pay their loan payments. The manager/owner simply suggested we put them in a drawer and ignore them. So, unless something significant changes, please beware before booking this property.
