Always fantastic, location is the Best, hot tub, and management company are always fantastic. Don’t think just book it if available, just not on Thanksgiving cause we are coming back every year….
Good location and nice yard - comfortable and nice. Nice place except for one thing - too hot upstairs- AC doesn’t really reach up there so we were too hot for 2 or 3 nights.
If you could fix that it is a 5 star property
We had a wonderful time. There were only a few things that we needed. I bought fresh ground coffee and the drip coffee pot was broken. No toilet paper in the bathroom and the cover for the hot tub was very hard to take off and put on due to it being broken. But overall we loved staying so close to town and it is a darling house. Thank you
The house was nice, but it was really about the location. Honestly, being that close to The Southerner was enough to sell us on the place.
This was a great place to be close to everything in town you'd want to be close to!
Great stay in Saugatuck- short walk downtown. A few things I would change:
It’s a 1 full bath + ½ bath
Bed upstairs is extremely uncomfortable- you can feel the springs.
A little on the musty/old house side. Maybe a few room fresheners.
Overall great experience!

Great Location But Needs Work Done
Being close to the center of Saugatuck is the primary strong point of this property. It was just spacious enough for our family of 2 adults and 3 older kids. We enjoyed the backyard and the hot tub. However, the house is in desperate need of maintenance and proper cleaning. After checking in, we left for the whole evening, but the following morning realized that the floors were not cleaned prior to our arrival. There was dirt, food crumbs and animal hair, everywhere, we found at least 4 or 5 hair & dust balls behind the bathroom and bedroom doors and even in the middle of the stairs. Dusting was also done selectively, only in the high traffic areas. We were not able to get ahold of the management right away and ended up vacuuming the whole house ourselves. Upstairs area was cozy for kids but needs better a/c solutions, as there was only one old and rattling fan to cool off the room with two beds. Loft bed creaks terribly, every time you move. Downstairs bedroom dresser had broken drawers, other furniture was really flimsy as well. On the positive note, kitchen and dining area were nice and spacious. Overall, though the house had its ups and downs, we had a good stay, we love Saugatuck, it was nice to be in the middle of things.
The location of this house can’t be beat!! One block away from the main strip, so right next to the action without being noisy. We were able to fit two midsize SUVs in the driveway, which is a huge perk given that street parking can be very limited during peak hours. The small backyard is completely fenced in though not terribly usable (from a pets perspective), but it was nice to hangout on the porch with our dogs able to lounge nearby. The hot tub was working perfectly. The abandoned small pond in the backyard, however, functions solely as a mosquito breeding ground. Overall, the exterior and grounds of the house could use some improvement.
The house inside is quaint and cozy. One bedroom off the main living area. The other two beds are upstairs and it’s not meant for tall people. One I would not consider a bedroom, more a day bed in the open area upstairs (it does not have any door/privacy). The other does have a door with two beds inside. There is a small toilet upstairs. There are no AC vents upstairs so you have to rely on the AC from the first floor and the fan provided in the double bedroom. The fan was really loud (and not in a good white noise way so don’t put your hot or sensitive sleepers up there) but made the temperature comfortable.
The kitchen is nice, though would have been nice for management to not be so stingy with things like the one roll of paper towels or not providing coffee filters. The solo shower downstairs was great.
