We enjoyed the stay minus the picturesque setting. Cute place however, the floors were absolutely filthy. Our feet were dirty when we were walking with no shoes on and owner really should wash comforters each time. They were clearly not washed which was pretty gross.
I booked this trip as it was for my birthday this year!! This place is so neat and of course it hits a special place in our hearts because we are Jeeples. lol! The only real issue we had with the entire thing was the main door locks were a pain to get locked and unlocked but that was the only thing. The place was very clean, well stocked with towels, wash cloths, toilet paper, kitchen supplies etc. I’m always an overpacked and brought some with me but this is the first place I have ever stayed that I didn’t need any of it! we will definitely be booking this place again! It was well worth the trip and staying!!!! Thank you to the host for making this a reality for folks to experience!!! As we have been to Cades cove/townsend/ and the Jeep outpost MANY times in the last several years with our jeeps and we never knew this was a thing till a few months ago!!!
The Grill was not functional. The deflector plates were rusted and corroded. The Grill was full of charred grease.
We were disappointed since it was a feature of your advertisement. The grill needs replacing. One more issue the toilet in the first bathroom keeps refilling about every ten minutes. Other suggestions clean the gutter spout of all the twigs and leaves, power wash the mold on the house siding. However, we still enjoyed our stay.
