Great location—dirty house
The location of the home is great in Lake Arrowhead and the view is amazing. However, the decor is very dated and the home was full of dead cockroaches and the air vents were full of dirt and dust which caused some major allergy issues with some of the guests. The house itself if fine but has an awkward floor plan with two small balconies on the upper level and a small
Family room downstairs with no view of the lake. The other oddity is all four bedrooms are on the lower level. It appeared that no effort was made to prepare the house for our stay due to all the dead bugs and dirty air vents plus an abundance of fallen leaves on all the decks areas and on the very steep driveway, which might have been unusable if we hadn’t borrowed a blower and removed the leaves ourselves. If the owner would invest some money in upgrading the cosmetics of the home and get a better housekeeping crew to do a good cleaning before guests arrive, this could be a great place to stay. In our case, we won’t be returning.
