Centrally located with easy access to Downtown Ithaca (3 blocks) and Cornell University (2 blocks), this large 8 bedroom, 6.5 bathroom historic home is absolutely perfect for large family gatherings, reunions, conference groups, wedding parties and people looking for a large venue with all amenities. While spacious and historic, it is newly renovated and simply furnished for maximum comfort. The house and grounds are all yours. Owner lives nearby but not on property.
The main house is set on a private cul-de-sac with outdoor porches and grounds. The carriage house contains a small hot tub for relaxation after your recreational activities in the Finger Lakes. The area is known for beautiful state parks with exceptional hiking and swimming, excellent fine to casual dining, Local shopping, farmers markets, award winning wineries, cider houses and a host of museums. We are a "summers only" facility

I am Patricia, owner of Strawberry Property in Ithaca, NY The Ivy at Cornell's Doorstep will be open this summer for large group stays. With 8 bedrooms, 6.5 baths and large common areas, spread out with your group for a summer vacation, reunion, wedding or other event. The house sleeps 16 people across 8 bedrooms/8 beds and is lightly yet fully appointed with everything you need for your stay. We have a hot tub in the carriage house and lovely relaxing grounds.
Why they chose this property
The location can't be beat. You are a 2 block walk to Cornell University main campus, 3 block walk to downtown Ithaca's restaurant row and within a few minutes drive to numerous state parks and Finger Lakes venues.
What makes this property unique
A special historic home which is updated while retaining character. AC units in all bedrooms along with cotton sheets and high cleaning standards.
