Cozy cottage on the Maumee River in Waterville, Ohio just a few miles from town. What folks like best about our property is the peace and quiet that comes from the islands that are right out your front door. There is a 12-mile-long wooded hiking and biking trail that abuts our property. Feel free to use our mountain bikes, kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, and even our electric fishing boat! My husband and I purchased the 12 cabins and cottages that are Riverwood 25 years ago so, let us know if you need a larger or even additional places to stay for family get-aways! Hope to see you soon!

We’ve stayed at Riverwood cabins twice and really enjoyed both visits. Cabins are nice and location is excellent. Very peaceful setting! We’re BGSU parents and proximity to campus is also great.
The cabin was nice and was located right on the river. Enjoyed sitting on the porch. So nice of the owners to provide kayaks. The trails are really nice.
Just what we needed. Some quality family time. The host are super accommodating! We were in town for a soccer tournament and they let us come early and leave late. Could not have been more smooth.
We had a wonderful time . However we all came home with poison ivy. We went to use the grill to cook out and both were filthy. We went and bought a grill brush to clean it . We left it there for the next renter. The hosts were wonderful and helpful. Lovely people Very relaxing
Inside of the house was very neat and clean, owners left some goodies in the kitchen for you, and hot tub on the back porch was amazing along with the view of the Maumee River. Only bad thing is the shower had almost no pressure at all. Other than that everything was perfect.

Plumbing Problems
The cabin and owners are very nice. We were told to leave water to toilet shut off and that black stuff was in water. My dad and I used an old bowl from kitchen to subsidize tank water and to very fast showers. The water had black silt and smelled like an old aquarium. I was paranoid about smelling like that the whole weekend. We are not high maintenance at all. If the owner would have said, Hey, I know there is problems so I am refunding half your money, or anything, I would have understood. I waited a week to write this to see if they would. Also, an L-shaped couch, that does not fold out, does not sleep two adults. It should not even be considered unless it is a hide a bed.
I left a note and I waited, this is fair.
