Check in was smooth, lots of communication with the host. It was a great home and had everything we needed for the long weekend. The short drive to Buda was great and it was such a great town!
My Family of 5 stayed here this weekend to visit family. Beds are super comfortable! The owner is quick to respond to all your questions. The place was really clean. We loved that the TVs had sound bars. Felt like we were at the movies. Love the den area!
Definitely will be returning once we come to visit family again!
I think it’s important to leave honest reviews so that property owners understand what people are really thinking. Communication with the owner was great. Very nice. The house itself was OK. Smelled a little bit like urine or like someone elderly had lived there prior.
The bathrooms need updates and the fact that we had to strip the beds of bedding and put towels in the laundry room was a little bit annoying.
Very clean and nicely decorated home. Mattresses very comfortable and a really nice layout. Austin is so great with communicating details and being available if needed. He responded quickly in answering any questions or concerns. The house sits on a very pretty and large corner lot. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Austin!
Love this house. Perfect stay for my husband, our two adult children and their significant others.
The house had a very comfy vibe, we instantly felt at home.
My future daughter n law and her brides made stayed here and really enjoyed the place. It was only 15 minutes from the wedding venue so it was convenient for them to get their hair and make up done before the wedding. Thank you Austin for such a great place to stay.
Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Property looks like it was newly renovated. The property had almost everything we needed. It was perfect for extended family as my niece lives in the neighborhood. Location was close to shopping and easy to get to toll roads and I-35. The host was a great communicator. Had a wonderful stay...thank you!!
Your property is located very close to family. Very clean and well maintained. I have 3 suggestions
1. Shade over the porch in the backyard.
2. More decaf coffee, actually half caff would be awesome.
3. Softer pillows for the twin room.
Loved the cat picture in the bathroom, "The Daily Tabby". We definitely will be staying there again.
The house was well appointed and very clean. We had some issues with no power to the dishwasher but the owner acknowledged our issue and was going to address.
The location was great for easy access to Buda and Toll road to Austin.
This is a great property. Lot's of room and very clean. Due to circumstances beyond their control, the internet was out when we arrived. The manager was very responsive and helpful trying to restore access.
Unfortunately, the dishwasher was not working during our stay, and no one was available to come by and fix it. Luckily, it was just my son and me on this trip, so not too many dishes to wash by hand.
Just as a side note, the mattresses in the house are very firm, not uncomfortable, just extremely firm. Also, the pots and pans are very old and scratched non-stick if that matters to you. Other than that it was a great house to stay in.
This property was amazing! It was in a very quiet neighborhood! Super cute, quaint, and vibrant house with cute decor. It looked to be newly renovated. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need! Austin was a great communicator and was prompt to help out if we needed it! Thanks for a great stay!!

Not ready for Guests
As a frequent VRBO’er I can say I’ve been overall very pleased with all the properties we’ve stayed over the years. An aspect of staying in a VRBO that we’ve enjoyed is entering a property that is clean and prepared for guests to begin their stay with out having to scramble for basic amenities such as hand soap, paper towels, toliet tissue and typically coffee to start your stay at the very least.
Upon entering the property, we found the house to be nicely updated and decorated.
However, the house was not ready for guests. In the “41 Basic Amenities” listed in the property description, we found a roll of paper towels with only a few sheets left and no back-up, only a single roll of back up toilet paper for four guests. There was not a drop of hand soap in the house at either of the bathroom sinks or the kitchen sink. Hotel sized shampoo and conditioner were in each bathroom but were the leftovers from the previous guests and had been opened. There were several bars of previously used soap left in the window of the guest bathroom.
We were also surprised to find that coffee was not available for either the Keurig coffee brewer or the Ninja coffee pot. However, we did find heavy green mold growing in the filter basket of the Ninja pot and had to thoroughly clean the pot prior to using. (by the way the coffee pot takes 40 minutes to brew 10 cups so bring your own K cups prior to arriving)
Another concern that we were not aware of until later in our stay was that it appears that the dish soap never activated in the dishwasher from the prior wash cycle which means the dishes may not have been properly washed. We had to go back and rewash glasses, cups and plates prior to using.
We also found a duffel bag from a previous guest under the bed as well. This tends to show the lack of proper preparation and cleaning. There is a cleaning fee that is charged for the stay but does not appear to be effectively utilized in preparation of the house for incoming guests.
One additional note, the sliding “Barn Door” in the primary bedroom does not stay shut as it slides back open after closing.
To his credit the owner was very interested in receiving feedback upon our arrival. We did notify the owner of these things and he did offer to send someone to replenish but we had already taken care of most of the housekeeping issues and offered an apology for the mold in the coffee pot.
I sincerely hope that our feedback useful to him and to future guests at the home.
