About this property

Mountain Views on 5 acres, 5 minutes from SLO downtown.

This 1,200 square foot home has a family room with full kitchen and dinette. The large picture window provides stunning views of Bishop Peak Mountain. The night sky is beautiful, with little light pollution in our area, we get gorgeous sunsets and sunrises of all colors. Guests are encouraged to explore the property, we have jack rabbits, and barn owls regularly, with bald eagle, fox, and coyote spottings throughout the year. We have a chicken coop on the property, and all families are welcome to enjoy the fresh eggs. There is a seasonal creek near the house, depending on the time of year, it can be dry or fun to catch tadpoles and frogs. This property is in a micro climate and tends to be located in a windy part of SLO. The best thing about this house is that you feel like you are out in the country but are minutes to everything… downtown SLO, shopping, restaurants and Avila Beach. This is our guest house on our property, we reside in the main house that is adjacent to the two bedroom guest house. You have your own private home:)

SLO Life

Megs has a fun guest house in a great location. We spent thanksgiving with family and enjoyed the pool table, games, fire pit, and the area. Hiking, SLO, beach all nearby. There is a well appointed kitchen for cooking. Megs is very responsive and warm, and the dogs are sweet.

Quiet Country Retreat

Great property for relaxing stay out in the country hills. We loved hanging out with plenty to do on property with our family. If you love country living, with animals and open skies, your family will love this place.

Cozy Stay with Lots of Space

This place was incredible! Minutes away from SLO and easy drive to Morro Bay, Pismo Beach, etc. Lots of room for the family to stretch out. Great little touches like snacks and welcome wine. The host family was very friendly. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to SLO

Slice of the country close to all

We wanted a family-friendly accommodation that was quiet, close to SLO, and close to Morro. 5 stars. The unit is nicely appointed and the host is friendly. We plan to stay at this lodging again when we next visit SLO.
