Outstanding!

We loved everything about this apartment. Perfect location, quiet, clean, well equipped, very homey (and for Hemingway buffs, two doors down from his flat)! So much to see in Paris yet we opted to stay in on more than one occasion and enjoy our place. Owner and managers were responsive and very helpful. We hope to enjoy their hospitality again!

Accommodation in ideal location

Wonderfully cosy and warm. Best location imaginable Needed to get heating turned up and was acted upon quickly by agent. Not enough hot water to have a decent bath. Would love to stay again.

Situation centrale optimale

Le point très fort de cette propriété est sa situation dans Saint Germain-des-Prés, arrondissement lui-même central dans Paris. Belle grandeur, bien équipé, accueil personnalisé, j’espère pouvoir y retourner lors de mon prochain séjour.

Ideal location between Museums, transport, the market, excellent pastry shops and boutiques.

We booked this apartement without knowing the historic past of the street. World celebrities lived on this street. It is very quiet and apartment has everything you may need to spend some time in Paris. We usually spend the holidays in Paris and stay within the same arrondissement, therefore everything was familiar to us; Le Marche de Saint Germain, Perre Herme, Gerard Mulot, Cafe de Flore, Les Deux Magots etc. The weather being as mild as it was, we managed to take a walk through the Jardins du Luxmbourg. The apartment is close to the Metro and Bus routes. We will defintely consider booking it again for subsequent trips.

Paris Done Right!

My wife and I spent a week at this terrific apartment, walking distance to so many attractions/venues that we wanted to see. The check-in and check-out process was flawless and the accommodations were wonderful. It was our first time in Paris and we couldn't have been happier. Thanks!!

Comfortable, welcoming, clean, and convenient!

Had a great stay here for four nights in mid-June with my daughter. The apartment got a lot of natural light, and for two people, the living area was spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Shower worked well, convenient to have a washer/dryer in the apartment. Very close to bus and metro service, one block from Luxembourg Gardens. Highly recommend!

Best location ever!

The location couldn’t be better. The neighborhood and surrounding area is free of all those big tour groups you see in many other areas of Paris. I never was ever planning on cooking any meals so the kitchen’s small size was never an issue for us. Loved it and would return again but maybe not for a whole month.

Terrific - would go there again.

Just what we wanted: ground level just off the street. a lovely location near St. Sulpice and the Luxemburg Gardens, living room very com- portable and beautifully furnished, kitchen just right for two. Only weak point was the bed - a bit uncomfortable - a little tilted to one side.Very charming, cozy French style.

Great location, decorator charm

This is the second consecutive year we have stayed at 9 Rue Ferou. We love it for its wonderful location and its interior charm. But, the second time around does reveal, or make evident a few minor areas of concern. The most important is bathtub/shower safety. The bathtub floor can be very slippery. I think that some friction strips or a tub pad would make all the difference. Our second concern, though minor, is that this apartment has a small galley kitchen. This is no deal killer by any means. But, be aware that though fairly well equipped, including dishwasher, there is not much room for entertaining We had guests over for brunch one Sunday, but if you are thinking of a larger dinner party, think again. As I say, this is fairly minor; I am just making note of it. Finally, as charming as the courtyard is, the portico ceiling bulb just as one enters through the locked front street door was burned out for our entire stay, despite a request that it be replaced. If neighbors have no lights on when you return from a night out, the courtyard will be virtually pitch black. Despite this and the other minor concerns, this is a lovely setting to make a couple feel right at home, almost as Parisian residents.

Overpriced

The apartment has a convenient location. However, the apartment was dark and not as clean as expected. For example, there was mold in the tile of the bathroom which took on a bad odor. It is overpriced.

Lovely apartment, great location

It is a very ,very nice apartment. Very conveniently located. Very clean. Nicely appointed. The kitchen was adequate and well arranged. We work when we are traveling, so we did have ample space to work. The bed was comfortable, the sheets crisp and fresh. The comforter was very clean—something we insist on. We kept in in good care, hanging it during the day to make sure it stayed clean. Miryam, (who greeted us) could not have been nicer. She was lovely to deal with. Plenty of outlets to plug things into (we had two laptops and two Ipads, and two phones so something was always plugged in). I lived in Paris many years and I truly appreciated the location of the unit, it’s spaciousness, and the lovely furnishings. When we left the apartment, we were sad. However, I’d rent it again in a heartbeat. Nothing missing, nothing overlooked—it was a lovely, fine apartment. Thanks you for allowing us to stay there. We truly appreciated it.

Having owned an apartment for many years on the Rue de Verneuil, we are aware of all the features that contribute to a meaningful living space. Your flat on the Rue Ferou passes the test in all regards! It is superbly equipped, well appointed with comfortable sleeping arrangements, cozy, welcoming, serene, and very liveable. Bravo! We hope to return soon to our beloved Paris and your charming apartment. Michael and Wendy Crowley San Marino, California

Spacious apartment in a superb location

We found the apartment Ferou very pleasant, and we very much enjoyed our stay there. Myriam was quite helpful both upon our check in and when we had to call her with small questions. The location is superb; just a couple of hundred yards walk to the Luxembourg Gardens, our favorite place to relax, and twenty minutes or so to walk to the Louvre or the D'Orsay. The apartment is spacious and well furnished and decorated, apart from the small (but well equipped) kitchen. It was a comfortable home for us during our ten-day visit. We would certainly choose it again the next time we come to Paris.

Nice and spacious apartment in a great location

The location of this apartment in the 6th arr. near St-Sulpice and the Jardins du Luxembourg was exquisite. We will definitely return to the same location in the future. It was less crowded with tourists and had a neighborhood feel. The arrangements to meet with Myriam for the key worked great. She was on time and gave us a good tour of the apartment. Our deposit was returned in full and promptly. The apartment faced an interior courtyard and was nice, spacious, and tastefully furnished with antiques. It had a homey, Parisian feel. The living room furniture was comfortable and attractive. Overall, our experience was great. I want to say how well-organized, professional and responsive you have been throughout the entire renting process and also how helpful Myriam was upon our arrival. Thanks again for being such a professional during our relationship.

wonderfully located, quiet and comfortable

Apartment Ferou is wonderfully located just 4 minutes from the Luxembourg Gardens and just a few yards from St.-Sulpice Square. Because it is inside a courtyard, it is also totally quiet. The apartment itself is fully equipped and features a very large living area. We were completely comfortable and very well satisfied with the kitchen, the laundry facilities, and all else. There are wonderful bistros within walking distance, as well as a comprehensive Monopris market and the delightful Marche St Germain, even closer, with an outstanding traiteur across the street. This apartment is well worth the price because of location and accoutrements. In BeauParis provided reliable start-up service. The preliminary payments and requirements may seem a bit cumbersome to North American visitors but were handled professionally and confidentially.

Nest away from home!

What a joy to find a nest away from home that gives you so much pleasure. Lovely quiet neighborhood, charmingly furnished pied-a-terre with thoughtful additions like books and maps of Paris, new appliances, and close to metro, bus and taxi stands. And the shower in the bathroom is outstanding! This is our third stay, and we look forward to many more.

Rue Ferou

Charming Parisian apartment in the 6th with a superb location. Proximity to Luxembourg and to St. Germain are as good as it gets. Property itself is very well-appointed and equipped, private, and very quiet--an oasis. Small but functional kitchen, very well furnished, ideal for couples. Kitchen and bathroom not updated but are fine. All windows open onto the courtyard, allowing light in all rooms (w/o external views). The best of the 6th at your doorstep. Second time renting this property and would come again for a third. Also: the rental agency is superb, attentive, and professional, as is Myriam, who manages the property for the owner. Highly recommended.

Great Location

My husband and I rented an apartment for the first time while in Paris. We poured over the options and, whittled down our search to this one. It’s in a great part of town- there’s a beautiful church and massive fountain at the corner of the street. The Metro is close. We loved having more space, especially being able to have breakfast in the apartment. There is a nice grocery store nearby. The apartment had a small kitchen equipped with whatever you needed. The kitchen is very outdated. The bathroom is very outdated as well, has exposed pipes, but came with a washer/dryer. I am not accustomed to European appliances. It doesn't hold many clothes, plus the clothes never dry. I ran a 3 hour dry cycle (that’s what’s recommended) and the clothes didn't feel any dryer than when I began the cycle. I had to hang them all over the apartment. There’s no clothesline in the bathroom. I had to iron everything I washed. The iron barely got hot enough to smooth out the wrinkles. The tub floor is VERY high and hard to get in and out of. I am short and have both knees replaced- I’d say a prayer every time I got out of the tub. The shower head leaks all over the floor. The bath towels were very old and thin- like the towels I use for washing my car. I was glad that a blow dryer was available to me. The bedroom had ample closets and a dresser for more clothes. European beds are smaller than I’m accustomed to. There were some unusual elevations in the apartment. Two steps divide the entryway from the family room. Another step as you enter the bedroom. I did have a concern that I would trip over these steps If you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you. Al in all, I would rent an apartment again. I don’t think I’ll rent this one. The tall tub with leaking shower head, outdated kitchen and bath, sofa that bottoms out in the middle, and old towels were a little disappointing. But, the location can’t be beat! You can walk to stores, restaurants, the Metro, Luxembourg Gardens, or wherever your heart desires. Myriam did a great job, meeting us at the apartment and seeing that we were settled in- she answered any questions we had.

Mid-Winter Break

We stayed at this property in February, 2013. It contributed to a wonderful winter break from Washington, D.C. First, the apartment itself. Gracious, warm, comfortable - very much allowing for a "living in Paris" experience. All features were as advertised. Second, a great location for almost anything one might wish to do in Paris - for the most part on foot. Third, a bit of history - Ernest Hemingway, Man Ray, even adventures of the Three Musketeers - all just out the door. Fourth, we were met by a representative of the owner who introduced us to the apartment and the neighborhood - both welcoming and a wonderful information-loaded introduction. And, fifth, a very easy administrative experience with InBeauParis. All in all, tres tres bon.

Perfect Paris Apartment

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Rue Ferou apartment from September 19 to 26. When Myriam met us there to show us around, we were so pleasantly surprised because the photos on VRBO do not do it justice. It is big and beautiful. We especially enjoyed being so centrally located that we did not have to take the Metro even once to enjoy what we wanted to do in Paris. This is a place that I would recommend to anyone who wants to spend time being a Parisian, if only for a short time. Thank you for a great week. Judy Snyder

Beautiful Paris apartment in a lovely neighbourhood

We enjoyed our stay at Ferou very much. The apartment was beautifully furnished with antiques and also very comfy, spacious and quiet. We loved the location, so near great cafes, patissieries and other great food, antiques, art galleries and clothing stores in a lovely neighborhood. I highly recommend it as a pied a terre for any couple who wants to enjoy Paris.
