About this property

Summer fun! 5bd/4.5ba home with spectacular views in the center of the resort!

Welcome to Barrel Ridge! ACCESS TO THE SWIM/FITNESS CENTER AND OTHER POOLS IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL OF THIS HOUSE. When designing our home, we tried to think of everything to make this your home-away-from-home. The views from our home are spectacular - mountains, trees and the 10th green of the Prospector Golf Course. The house is situated so it receives light year-round.

A few big picture rules before we talk about the property - no underage drinking or smoking is allowed on premises. A person who is 25+ years old must be on property - please do not rent our house for your high school graduation or prom parties. Quiet hours are from 10pm - 8am and are strictly enforced by Suncadia Patrol. Fines will be assessed by Suncadia Patrol for violations as discussed in our House Rules. We allow 16 people to spend the night and up to 25 people during the day. Additional people during the day may be allowed with an additional fee - please send us a message to inquire. In addition, Suncadia Patrol now had radar guns to catch speeders. If we receive a fine based on your speeding violation, we will pass that fine on to you.

Now, let's start with the sleeping arrangements:

Primary bedroom (Main Floor): 1 king bed, en-suite with 65" TV (DirecTV)
Main Floor Guest: 1 king bed, en-suite with 65" TV (DirecTV)
Lower Floor Guest West: 1 king bed, en-suite
Lower Floor Guest East*: 1 queen bed, bathroom shared with bunk room
Lower Floor Bunk*: 2 sets of 3 twin bunk beds (6 total beds), en-suite with bath tub
Lower Floor Living Room Sofa Bed: queen bed

*The Lower Floor Guest East bedroom and Bunk Room have an adjoining door. With the door open, the room becomes one large room. When the door is closed, it is two smaller rooms.

The great room on the main floor has a 3-sided fireplace, sectional couch, additional chairs, dining table that seats 8 comfortably and 12 if you want to get cozy, and a huge island with 6 bar stools. There is also a 65" TV with DirecTV but we think you will be looking at the view more than the TV. We have a multi-panel sliding door that allows you to open the living room wall onto the expansive deck which includes a fire feature. And we have a powder room on the main floor.

Above the great room there is a loft with a large game table and a lounge chair. From this perch, you have the best views in the house. Use this space to read a book or make a puzzle and play other games.

On to the kitchen where you will find high end appliances including a 6-burner Wolf range with a second oven in the butler's pantry. We have 2 Miele dishwashers, 2 sinks, a 36" refrigerator, 24" freezer, microwave, drip coffee maker, tea kettle, All-Clad cookware, Henckels knives and lots of small kitchen appliances (Ninja blender, hand mixer, slow cooker, pots, pans, food storage containers, some spices, and more). The kitchen also has a pass-thru window that fully opens allowing seamless integration between the deck and the kitchen. There is bar seating on both sides of the pass-thru window.

Our lower level includes a pool/ping pong table, air hockey, two couches, two reclining chairs and some bar stools. There is a 65" TV (DirecTV) in the living room and an entirely separate media room that has an 85" TV (DirecTV), X-box, surround sound and extra noise insulation. That room also has a couch and some additional seating.

Outside you will find a massive Napoleon Grill on the upper deck that has space to cook 19 burgers at a time. The lower level patio has a hot tub that seats 7 and is partially covered and partially uncovered so you can enjoy the tub year round. There is also an outdoor dining table and other furniture for enjoying the warm summer days.

A maximum of three dogs are welcome at our house with an additional pet fee of $100. We ask that your dogs stay off of the furniture, especially the leather couches in the main floor living room.

Any events that require moving the furniture and/or other special accommodations will incur an additional one-time event fee of $1,500.

Amazing stay for birthday retreat!

The house was absolutely perfect and beautiful. Very well appointed, amazing views, and the host was incredibly gracious with several special requests we made. Proximity to all the main Suncadia amenities was also incredible. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Mountain Getaway for Families

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Suncadia! With three families in our group, the house was absolutely perfect—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to accommodate everyone. There was plenty of room for the kids to play while the adults relaxed, and the layout made it easy to gather together or enjoy some quiet time. The location within Suncadia was great. The setting was truly stunning, and we made great use of the outdoor spaces as well. The host was wonderful—easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any questions we had. It made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would recommend this home for anyone planning a group getaway in Suncadia.

Amazing Location, Amazing Host, Amazing Memories

The house was clean, hot tub was clean, and all was better than I have come to expect in most short term rentals. I don't know how else to describe it, the extra blankets were soft, the beds were comfortable, even with the owners staying in the Mother-inlaw above the garage one or two nights we were staying, we had privacy, lots of parking. The showers were clean, the hot tub was clean and fresh. Pleanty of pots and pans, dishes and space in the fridge. It was like coming home.

The best stay in Suncadia!

Photos don't do this home or view justice. We spent a weekend in Suncadia for my mom's 80th and never left once! The dual master bedrooms were great! The stocked kitchen and high end BBQ and oven were perfectly paired with the sub-zero fridge. We played air hockey and ping pong into the night and watched the stars come up from the hot tub. We've been going up to Suncadia for years and I think the deck has a better view than the main lodge. What a wonderful place to stay and make memories!

Memorable Wedding Weekend

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! It was perfect for hosting our family and friends who were in Suncadia for our son's wedding at Swiftwater Winery. The home felt so comfortable and had everything that we needed during our stay. The location was perfect and the views from this home are spectacular. The game room was so much fun! The hosts were very easy to communicate with and provided us with all of the details about the home prior to, and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this home to others, we have so many good memories of time spent with family and friends at Barrel Ridge!

A Best In Class Experience

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this gorgeous luxury mountain home with stunning views, and I have to say that it was an absolutely incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the surroundings, and the attention to detail that had gone into every aspect of the home. The check-in process was smooth and easy, and we were immediately struck by the unique touches and architectural features that set this home apart. Every room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with unbelievable mountain views out of every window. We particularly loved the cozy fireplaces , which made the whole house feel warm and inviting, and the comfortable beds that made for a great night's sleep after a day of exploring the surrounding area. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to endless outdoor recreation. And of course, the views were simply breathtaking - we spent hours just gazing out at the private surroundings. Overall, I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a truly memorable experience. With its luxury touches, stunning views, and unbeatable location, it truly exceeded all of our expectations!
