18 Day Nightmare!
This property is completely misrepresented! I sent pictures in an email to someone named Luis two days ago.
1. Home is on a gravel road and you need to walk down a steep hill to get to the house.
2. House is covered in cob webs inside and out and windows are dirty and covered in green mold.
3. Two queen beds listed turned out to be full size mattresses (we measured!) so that my husband and I had to sleep in separate rooms.
4. Third bedroom had a sleeper sofa that we had to use to keep an exterior door closed and keep our opened suit cases. Lock did not work!
5. Not one dresser in the house to put clothes away and closets in each room were filled with owners belongings.
6. Every kitchen cabinet was filled, top of refrigerator full with owners things. Counter jars full of owners food.
7. Bathroom toilet had red stain from not being cleaned. Rusty radiator next to toilet. Shower had moldy shower curtain and blue stained shower floor and wall (corroding pipes!)
8. Living room with western exposure and no window covering. Blinding at days end!
9. 6 large inner tubes for lake stored in living room.
10. Very old, dirty sofa that I had to buy a blanket to sit on.
11. The only thing to clean with was a filthy old broom. My dog was with us and she sheds. I asked the owner for a vacuum and she said they only sweep when they are there.
We almost didn’t stay but would have no where to go. We paid over $6,000 to stay in this house for 18 days.
