Nice Getaway!

The cabin was super cute and clean, and the host was very communicative and helpful. She even shipped some items to me that I had accidentally left behind! We enjoyed the mountain and river views, and had a really nice stay!

Best host ever!

The only thing that could have made this stay better is she could have controlled the weather! 😄 We are light sleepers so trains did wake us. Loved the cabin. Property was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again

Here’s a sample review for the place you're describing: --- A Perfect Cozy Retreat Near Glacier

We had the most amazing stay at this charming little hideaway just 15 minutes from Glacier National Park! The location couldn’t have been better—it’s tucked beside a peaceful river, which made for the most serene and picturesque mornings with coffee by the water. The cabin itself was so cozy and well-appointed, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The highlight? Definitely the hot tub! After a day of exploring the park, there’s nothing better than soaking in the hot tub while gazing at the stars and listening to the gentle sounds of the river. The surroundings feel wonderfully secluded, but you’re still close enough to Glacier to make it super convenient for day trips. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or just a peaceful spot to unwind, this place is absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

Glacier Experience

Cabin was quaint. Accommodating for our trip. We were disappointed that description said log cabin with river view but nothing was stated that you would need to walk to another location to view the river. Hot tub was located at the host cabin on her porch. This was uncomfortable and we chose not to utilize the tub due to its location. Cabin was very well kept and it provided for our needs. There is a train track approx. 150 yards away and we counted that trains came by on our first night over 11 times. The other nights were similar. Very loud when they came by. All in all though the cabin was nice.

4 days in Glacier

Absolutely fabulous!! Everything was spotless, so clean, comfortable bed and everything you needed was provided. We felt so comfortable there, it was like coming home after a full day of work. Joan was fabulous-she responded to all questions, checked on us and made sure we felt comfortable. All products from kitchen to bath to dishes are high end . You can tell she made a great effort to think of everything! Even later on our vacation at another VRBO location we were wishing we could have been at The Little Cabin. Thank you Joan for a wonderful stay!!

Glacier hiking

The property was exactly as represented. Quaint log cabin with all the amenities. Comfortable bed, fluffy towels, beautiful views and gracious host. The propertys is near train tracks and the train runs frequently but it becomes background noise quickly. We would highly recommend this cabin for a West Glacier stay.

Adorable Cabin. Close to Glacier NP West Entrance.

This cute little cabin was perfect for the two of us. It was very clean and cutely decorated. You can walk out back by the main house and sit to enjoy the view of the Flathead River. We did have an issue with no hot water for a day, but the host got her handyman on it quickly. The only other issue was the RR tracks are not far from the front of the cabin. Seven trains came through the first night, so we didn't get much sleep. no hot waterno

Five stars

Absolutely incredible location to stay if you want to hike and visit Glacier National park and surrounding areas. Short walk from the back yard and you are down to the river on the property and enjoying views right out the back yard. We had zero complaints and on top of having great views, Joan the host will help you with any questions about the area or the property that you might have, great communication and will make sure that your stay is perfect, overall a truly great experience and we had a great time.

A Wonderful Retreat

We couldn't have stayed in a more ideal location, very close to the park entrance without being on top of other travelers, in our private cabin! Conveniently close to Columbia Falls and Whitefish for dining and post-hiking entertainment. This cabin has all needed amenities plus some, Joan really puts effort into making her rental feel like home. We loved being right on the river as well with hot tub access which has beautiful river views, though our only disappointment was that this was by hourly reservation only as the hot tub was shared with other renters in the main house, so we wished we had understood that prior to arrival. Overall would return!!

Daughter Approved

My daughter and I stayed two nights at the Quaint Log Cabin. You can not get much closer to West Glacier Park than this cabin. We did choose to travel to Many Glacier as well which was two hours away but Grinnell Glacier Trail was worth the travel. This cabin was an excellent home base as we explored the area. The cabin was exceptionally clean. It was well stocked even with pleasant surprises. Joan was an excellent host, communication was good and privacy was respected. I loved that she has started a book for her guests to write about their experiences. To sum it up the Quaint Log Cabin was daughter approved.

Would Return to this Gem in Coram

We stayed 3 nights over July 4th 2024 weekend. The cabin- close to GNP/ West Entrance and GNP/ Kalispell airport 30 minutes, and is well equipped/ clean and newly updated - kitchen, living space/ TV/ WIFI, Bath/ toiletries, great decor, and if you like trains, it's nearby. It was easy to make ourselves comfortable after long days visiting GNP and surrounding area. The host provided some snacks for a quick breakfast, a pizza that saved us after a long day, and coffee/ water, which was all appreciated. As for sleep, one can carefully climb up and down ladder/ stairs to the loft and sleep in comfy bed and/ or can choose to use sleeper sofa on main floor. Great sheets/ bedding! As for outdoors, neighbors loved fireworks and so we did too. The host has a nice hot tub you can reserve for your use, furniture on porch, a grill, and the yard also has a fire pit and chairs available on-site. It was private, has it's own driveway and we felt safe as the cabin has an electronic door lock and security light. If / when we return, we would stay again!! It exceeded our expectations. Thank you Joan!!

We love living in Montana right on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. We love the out of doors. There is so much to do, white water rafting, kayaking, fly fishing, fishing, zip lining, and ropes course, so many beautiful hikes, seeing the variety of animals, eagles, bears, mountain goats, big- horn sheep, marmot's and so much more, just keep your eyes open and be bear aware, so many great restaurants, skiing, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing in the winter months, Its never a dull moment in Montana!

Why they chose this property

The beauty of this property is that we are right on a wild and scenic river, in Montana, a short distance to Glacier National Part and all of its glory. I love sitting on our deck and ponder the day and watch the river go by. Many only dream of living on a wild and scenic river in Montana.
I fled the hustle and bustle of the city to live in the serenity of the mountains and to enjoy the out-of-doors at its finest.

What makes this property unique

One little cabin is on private property, with your own private viewing deck of the river.
