About this property
Tree Top Architectural Famous House in the Hollywood Hills
***We have all 5 - Star reviews on other platforms, feel confident you will LOVE staying in our home.***
This is your chance to stay in one of the iconic architectural gems designed by Harry Gesner! Lovingly called, "The Boathouse", this is a unique A-frame home that "floats" in the Hollywood Hills. Two bedrooms, one bathroom and an elevated meditation, reading platform. Styled with a nod to mid-century, surrounded by floor to ceiling windows in the living room and main bedroom. You'll love staying in this light-filled, super-special, funky-vibe Hollywood Hills home.
Our living room is spacious with plenty of seating options. Leather U-shaped sofa inspired by the early case-study of Milo Baughman. Glance over the trees and ravine at 2 more Boathouses. Hear the chirping of birds and enjoy the sights of nature from our balcony. To the left you'll see peek-a-boo city lights of Universal City and the San Fernando Valley.
Guest access:
You'll have access to the whole house. We love hosting families and small groups who will appreciate the nostalgia of this mid-century home! Read the Harry Gesner book while staying here (it's in our living room) and become more familiar with how special his contributions and works of art to Southern California! Our home is the actual boathouse photographed in this book!
Other things to note:
Laundry available for stays of 7 days or more.
EV charging available for a fee, please let us know if you'll be wanting this amenity.
