Why they chose this property
Welcome to Bluejay Ridge! We hope you enjoy your stay. You may be wondering “Will I see lots of Bluejays on Bluejay Ridge?” Probably not. While Bluejays are common in Georgia, they don’t usually live at this elevation (2100 feet). The name came from the general location of the cabin. When people would ask us where the cabin is, it’s sorta Ellijay, and sorta Blue Ridge.
So we combined the names: “Elibluejayridge,” which we simplified to “Bluejay Ridge.”

What makes this property unique
Enjoy the spectacular long distance year round view while you enjoy the 27 foot screened porch and listen to the sound of the near-by waterfall. Wake up to mountain views from your bed. Centrally located to local attractions in the Ellijay/Blue Ridge area including Long Creek Falls, Noontootla Falls, and Amicalola Falls. Tube the Cartecay River. Shoot Clays at Noontootla Creek Farms. Minutes from Springer Mountain, the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail.
