Team Dance & Fun
This was our second trip to Panama City for a combined Dance Competition event held at Edgewater for my daughters and to enjoy the days off as vacation. The room itself is much larger then photos make it out to be which is opposite of what you normally experience with listings. Some of the furniture definitely could be replaced (plywood under the couch cushions because springs are worn out) and the kitchen cabinets have some harsh wear on them to where I almost reported it so that I didn't get charged with damage, but overall it was still very cleanly kept up. We had an issue during check-in where the door access code was not sent in advance via email/text/App and had to wait to communicate with Owner to get the code. Partly our fault for not checking an hour or so before arrival.
There is a single over double custom bunk bed (not exact mattress sizes) in the hallway that is not featured in photos that is perfect for kids around 10 and under depending on height. The view of the beach is gorgeous with windows from far left edge of room to far right that lead out to the balcony. Most other places we've stayed in FL only have a view from balcony windows. All the Edgewater pools and activities they offered on-site were great. The beach never felt overcrowded (trip in mid June) even with 1 row of rental chairs in the front you could find gaps if you start out early. Even with the room needing some upgrades we would still stay here again!
