Our airstrip cabin is a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Come watch airplanes perform fly-bys or enjoy the peacefully quiet starlit night.
Our cabin features hangar and paddock space, making it an ideal space for any airplane and/or horse enthusiast. Being only 15 minutes away from Decatur and 35 minutes from Fort Worth, visiting NRS, the Stockyards and/or NASCAR Race Track is easy.

***Hangar and paddock space limited. Guests must confirm availability before booking.

A pleasant experience

The cabin is off the beaten path, but close enough to be accessible to the highway. I’m a very quiet rustic setting, it has all the amenities a person could want. The choice of beds(soft vs. firm) can accommodate any traveler. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances and the complementary water bottles and popcorn was a nice touch. The living room was comfortable in the desk in the work area was supported by a spin cycle to assist in work breaks. The bathroom provided the necessary supplies. With some unexpected quality appointments to enhance the stay.

Air Strip Cabin

Everything was good except the shower. U could not adjust the water temp and it is out dated. It was like they had it lock out to just give you luke warm water. You could not take a hot shower there. I had to shower at my son’s house. Other than that everything was fine
