Another great stay

This is my second time staying on the property and it was just as good as the first one! The house is big and spacious, the land and hiking trails are great and the screened and unscreened porch is such a plus. Brianna accommodated me very last minute and I am truly grateful. She is quick to respond and ensured that everything was working well during our stay. Thank you again for a lovely stay!

Wonderful Retreat

Highly recommend this wonderful getaway! This home was fantastic and suited our needs perfectly. The home was secluded and private. It was clean and well decorated. We'll definitely have it bookmarked for a future getaway. Thank you for hosting us!

Went for a Wedding

Reserved the house for myself (Best Man) and close friends to attend my brother's wedding. The wedding was very small, and when my brother and his fiance met up with us they were so impressed that we decided to move the ceremony to the house, and they got hitched on the nice lawn below the house next to the trees! Went great and the wedding party and guests (including K-9s) loved the house. Overall great stay and plan on using it again! Notes- -stairs to lower level are steep so anyone with orthopedic issues (yours truly) will be challenged if they stay down there. One of the upstairs bedrooms should be equipped as an adult bedroom (larger bed, nightstand, etc.) -little pond is cool but no PFDs that I saw so would be good to add some (there is a small paddle boat) -no real inventory that we saw of outdoor gear (lawn chairs, picnic blankets, larger cooler, maybe even lawn games). Would be nice to have as these items are tough to travel with and property lends itself to being outside!

Excellent stay.

This was a beautiful home! I have family that lives nearby and the closest rentals were about 30mins away from my family. I found this location and was skeptical since it had no reviews but looked very nice. I am so glad i rented it. The home is located slightly off the main road, so it feels very private. The home exceeded my expectations on space and layout. The home smelled amazing as soon as we walked through the doors and we were impressed with the open layout and the size of the home. It had everything we needed for the weekend (plenty of towels, toiletries, kitchen utensils, etc). The only thing that was missing was more laundry detergent, as there was only one pod but we purchased some at the local Walmart. The master bedroom, was warm at night, we ended up leaving the bedroom door open in order to get more airflow. But truly, these are minor issues and did not take away from the home or from me wanting to come back and rent it. It’s located approximately 10mins from grocery, hardware, liquor stores and from the downtown area . We enjoyed visiting downtown Chester and stopping in to Wild Bees Bottle shop, Genes Restaurant and Broad City Mercantile. I will 100% be booking l this VBRO again and look forward to staying here. To the host - Thank you for being so responsive, accommodating and having a lovely home!
