It's like owning a cabin without all of the work. We just made most of our own meals, hung out and explored some parks. Really great space to spread out and cozy enough to hang out.
We have stayed in these townhomes before and this is one of the nicest with having 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Gorgeous views. Absolutely breathtaking. We love the beaver Bay Area - right in the middle of everything. Went to grand Marais one day then south to the new scenic (always) the next. Hope to stay in this one again!
This was a very nice place to stay -- clean, quiet, had everything we needed and seemed very new. I'd recommend staying in this townhome, its beautiful to be right on the lake.
The view from the master bedroom is absolutely stunning. Wish the front porch was bigger, but the views made up for that! The pans need to be replaced and I wish they had Tupperware but overall the kitchen had everything you needed. Would stay here because of the views alone!
Three couples from Dallas enjoyed this great home base as we explored the area from Duluth to Grand Marais for a week. The condo was spotless. The kitchen was very well stocked (beyond the promise of "basics" by the property manager) with cookware, toaster, drip coffee maker, waffle iron, small spice rack in the cabinet door (garlic powder is empty, but other standards are there), salt, pepper, some sugar, plus some zip top bags, foil and paper towels. Beds were all comfortable, and we appreciated having 3 full bathrooms. Living room was comfortable for all of us. The only thing lacking was access to a washer and dryer.
We were here on our annual college friends trip (6 of us). The location was perfect, half way between Duluth and Grand Marais. The condo was a perfect size for all us, and of course, the view was spectacular! We saw a beautiful double rainbow on the lake one night, and had a bald eagle visiting on a nearby treetop! The restaurant/bar near the resort was great! We would definitely recommend this very clean, well appointed vacation home!
We stayed here with family and had a wonderful time. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, we were able to spread out. You are fairly close to two harbors (30 minutes) and about an hour to Duluth and Grand Marais. Split rock lighthouse and Gooseberry falls are very close by. The staff was very helpful and responsive when we were there.
