The property was perfect for the four of us. We were heading to Green Bay for a Packer game ( 30 minutes away) - crossed off the bucket list.
Loved it all!
We had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Shore. It's walking distance to a number of restaurants and Lake Michigan. My only suggestion for the owner is to put a curtain on the door in the bedroom. I loved the uniqueness of the old home and enjoyed the comfortable stay.
This home was perfect for our couples get away, the home had two queen beds and offered an air mattress in addition. The home was quaint and quiet, and there were plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend spending your time at Sunrise Shores. My favorite part was the walk to the Kewaunee Light House
The space is beautiful and full of character. Very large living room, kitchen and bedrooms. Less than a 5 minute walk to the lake and downtown scene. A small sleepy town full of kind people. I took a walk along the pier and it was lovely.
We stayed one night for a wedding at Lakehaven hall. It was EXTREMELY convenient being a nine minute walk away. The house is old, and we loved it. We spent the morning after walking around Kewaunee; definitely a hidden gem of a town!
My family, including our four-year-old and one-year-old, adored our stay at this beautiful old home in Kewaunee. Accommodations were spacious and comfortable, and everything felt very welcoming. We had everything we could need from our host, and she was quick to respond and very helpful whenever we reached out. Location was great for our time on the beach in Kewaunee and trips to Door County and Green Bay/Appleton. We would definitely love to come back another summer. Thanks, Greta!
We went to a wedding at Lakehaven hall and needed a place to stay. This place was walking distance to the venue! The property manager was so sweet and nade sure we had everythinf we needed!
We had a nice stay for a couple of days. The house was very clean, and provided us with everything we needed. The town is very cute and overall it was a nice stay.
Overall the house was good, not a very accurate description of sleeping arrangements. House says it sleeps 6 but theres only 1 regular bed and then a pullout and an air mattress, and the table only had 4 chairs. Also a very limited supply of toilet paper and paper towels.
The overall stay was comfortable. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Linens, cookware and some paper good were supplied which made packing a breeze. So thankful for that!! More seating would be nice. We have a family of 5 but there were only 4 chairs at the dining table with no extras in the house. The guest bedroom had no curtain over the back door but we were able to hang a towel there for privacy.
I was worried about not being able to control the temperature but the host changed the temp as soon as I sent a message. That was wonderful.
Cute place. Loved the antiquity and charm of it. Enjoyed surrounding areas...lake, restaurants, neat victorian homes. Would have liked to be able to turn heat up. Was a little too chilly for us. Would have liked a few other side tables (kitchen, bed, living room) to set things on. Otherwise adequate amenities...
We were looking for place to stay near home because we only had a 3 day vacation. We stayed with a very attentive host who helped us any way she could to ensure we had a nice time. We saw a few attractions in town including the Tug Ludington, which I recommend. Loved our peaceful, quiet stay and would definitely rent from our host again. Very accommodating host and spacious rental for our family of 4. Thank you!
