Come relax inside or out at our cottage. It’s a great place to enjoy time with family and friends. There are multiple outdoor decks and a picnic area with a fire ring that overlooks our spring-fed koi pond. We are located less than 3 miles from public beaches and boat launches and you can literally walk to Conneaut Creek to catch Steelhead!

The property was pretty and the house was clean and well stocked. However the lower level was extremely stuffy and smelled strongly of mold. We were originally supposed to be a group of 6 and are lucky we only 4. No one would be comfortable down there. We all had to sleep on the main floor.
4 adults and 2 children, boys, ages 9 and 11, stayed here for a 4 day weekend. We appreciated the propertys space for beds and the ample outdoor space, for the kids. Loved the coy pond and fire pit. There was some wood there, and we were able to acquire some more by chance passing abearby farm. The kitchen, was decently stocked, but if you plan to cook your own meals, consider bringing an extra large frying pan. Also, bring dish soap, as minimal was provided. The bathrooms were clean and had all the proper pieces, but no bath mats were available, and toilet paper provided was minimal. Plenty of towels so we used one for a bath mat. Also, no hooks to hang bath towels to dry. The beds were comfortable and it is truly a sweet and charming place. We would stay here again. Nice and close to the lake, and park with a beach.
This house was a fantastic place to stay. Clean, safe. Our kids loved feeding the fish and it was within perfect distance to the D-Day reenactment. Our host was fantastic. My family had nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay. Thank you.
Location was great, quiet, close to town, lakes and beautiful covered bridges. Nice drives for attractions in NY, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
House was clean and comfortable.
Friendly host and wife. Greeted us at check in and showed us around. Felt like coming to visit friends. Place was perfect for us and super clean! Smells amazing!! Host gave great recommendations for places to eat, and they are almost all within 10 minutes of rental. Beach less than 10 minutes away. Definitely worth the stay, thanks for having us!!

My grandkids loved the koi in the pond. Had fenced yard for them to run around also. Highly recommend

About the host
Hosted by Kurt Bitikofer
Our family is originally from south central Pennsylvania. We began visiting Conneaut for the steelhead fishing and fell in love with the town and the people here. We greatly enjoy hosting guests and introducing them to our town, the amazing fishing in the area, and the many delicious family-owned restaurants that Conneaut has to offer.
What makes this property unique
Although the Cottage is in town, it feels private because it's located on a wooded lot on a quiet street.
