This designer REMODELED IN JULY 2021 3bdr, 2bath home is located on a 60 foot deep water dock in quiet Plantation Key, Florida. This charming vacation home was decorated by an interior designer . The home features a screened in porch, wrap around balcony, sun deck and upper porch for relaxing with a glass of wine or a fine book while watching the birds from the nature preserve flying by. the large travertine deck has a 6 person new luxurious jacuzzi hot tub overlooking the water. The moment you set your foot in the door-you know and feel that you are on vacation, and time stops still....
Our dock can accommodate a boat up to 22 foot boat (24 with engines)
Islamorada is home to world renown fishing, diving, water sports and serene sunsets. The home has 3 new flat screen TVs, cable, fast WIFI, fully equipped chefs kitchen, washer and dryer, ice maker for your boating needs, blue tooth sound system and a large new 6 person outdoor hot tub. Near by is Founders Park with its lagoon style beach, Olympic size pool, dog park, marina and more . Theater of the sea is 10 minutes away. For flats fisherman-Flamingo national park and ocean access is only minutes away. World class amazing restaurants are minutes away. This is truly a boater's paradise .

Keys Perfection

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish! The location was perfect—close to great restaurants and plenty of things to do. The home itself was beautiful and comfortable, with every room thoughtfully stocked. But for our family, the true highlight was the outdoor space. We loved paddle boarding, watching manatees in the canal, relaxing in the hot tub, and sipping coffee—or enjoying a slice of key lime pie—on the porch. It was a wonderful getaway!

Beautiful home

Chely's home is beautiful, well appointed and in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Located on a canal, the property has a water view and a very lovely outdoor living space. The three bedroom/two bath spot is great for a few friends traveling together or a family.

The best place we've ever stayed

From the minute we pulled onto the property/started to settle in for the week...we KNEW this was the perfect fit for a long-overdue family gathering! Home is inviting, cozily decorated, large open kitchen/tv area/dining area are comingled so all 6 of us could always be "together" as we prepared meals, played games and just bellied laughed reminiscing and telling stories. Super comfy beds! A beautiful screened in porch for after the sun set but wow did we enjoy the lower level dock!....hot tub, lounge chairs, seeing the manatee almost daily swim by in the canal. Truly a gem of a get-a-way! Thank you Chely for sharing your lovely home!

Wonderful Respite From Wisconsin Winter

This home wasn’t just a home base for our exploration of the Northern Keys. It was a great place to hang out at any time of day as well! The home is really comfortable both inside and out. We had manatees visit daily, often multiple times, right from the patio/dock. From coffee dates on the screened balcony, to lazing in the sun or shade, to grilling freshly-caught fish, it just felt like home away from home. Chely (hostess) was responsive to a few texts asking for information, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to have spent time in her paradise!

The property is amazing. We stayed home a couple days, fished a couple days, grilled fresh fish on the grill a couple times, and even used the hot tub. Excellent communications before, during and after stay. Loved it !

Wonderful house in Islamorada!

We had a wonderful stay at Chely’s house in Islamorada. The house faces South and gets lots of good sunshine. The dock was perfect for the boat we rented and we were all very comfortable in the rooms. Would love to stay again. Chely was an amazing hostess and gave us so many good recommendations!

Beautiful Home

The location is perfect. The home was beautiful and the views were amazing. We even got to see the canal manatee twice, which our girls thought was amazing. He came right up to our boat while we were docking and hung out for quite a bit. Lots of shopping and great food close by as well. Chely was extremely responsive any time I texted her with a question. Highly recommend!!

A Bit of Paradise

This property is everything that it is made out to be! We had a fantastic week full of relaxation and exploration. The home is beautiful and we had a great time sitting on the porch watching the manatees and tarpon swim in the canal. The home has all the amenities and the owners were easy to reach. We enjoyed everything about this trip and would love to return next year!

Great place to come home to after your day of adventures. Sitting on the deck or waterside or in the hot tub, it is a perfect place to close out the day and spot manatees as they teach us the perfect way to live life - happy, peaceful and content with what this beautiful life has given us all.

Lovely home and property.

After staying 5 weeks in Chely’s home, I can see why people stay in the upper keys. There are many things to do and enjoy, water sports, shopping, and restaurants. We really didn’t need to travel 2 hours to Key West, been there, done that. The location is very nice, and we’ve never seen so many manatees including the smallest we’ve ever seen go by the dock area. Had such a great view of boats passing the home on their way out to the gulf. The screened in porch was wonderful and so peaceful. Any issues were minor and were taken care of. There was plenty of parking, and only a short trip to go fishing up in Marathon with friends. If you stay at this home, you will be hooked on Islamorada. Thank you for letting us enjoy your lovely home.

Extremely relaxing great location. Exactly as pictured very relaxing spacious good beds good linens fully stocked kitchen great view. Manatees swim right by the dock iguanas everywhere. shaded spaces sun spaces air condition spaces everyone in the family had their own climate controlled area. Hot tub was a nice added amenity that we normally don’t take it vantage of but this location was perfect

Amazing!

This home was perfect for my family of 4. Having our boat docked up behind the house made everything very easy. The hoses, fish cleaning station and ample room on the deck made every adventure smooth. Its only a 5 minute quick trip out to the gulf . This is a very quite area and we never worried about leaving stuff out downstairs overnight. Close to great restaurants and the grocery store. We travel a lot and this was our favorite property and trip we have been on. I can't recommend this home enough.

Perfect getaway

We had an incredible Florida Keys vacation. This was a beautiful, quiet, relaxing location to come back to after a day of scuba diving. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We spent our evenings in the hot tub and looking up at the stars on the dock. We rented kayaks and enjoyed exploring the nearby mangroves, watching the sunset and meeting the manatees. We look forward to coming back again.

Paradise

The location by land and water were great. We enjoyed the Manatees that visited every day. We rented a boat for a week and the dock access was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The house was exactly as the owner described. Wish we were still there. We came home to frigid temperatures that we haven’t had in years. This morning it was -4 windchill -24 🥶

Great Home in Plantation Key

Family trip to Islamorada for the opening of regular lobster season. The house was very nice and matches the description online. Communication with the property owner was easy and clear. Dock area is very nice: has built in fenders, cleats, hoses, electric and filet table. Boat length is limited due to available dock space, check listing or ask the property owner. Neighborhood is very nice, quiet and safe. Great house to rent for a trip to Islamorada with easy access to the bay.

Family Vacation for Boating

The owners where extremely friendly and worked with me on all of my questions. We always bring our boat and had plenty of room on the dock with electricity/water. The area is the perfect access to everything in the area from food, snorkeling, and just anchored out to swim. The beds were very comfortable and the house is truly stocked with everything. The hot tub was nice with very cool blue dock and deck lights everywhere. I would definitely come back and stay again. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Family getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home. From the canal, to the daily visits from manatees, to the ease of paddle boarding/kayaking, and the stunning sunrises/sunsets, we were able to relax and enjoy Islamorada. We enjoyed being able to bring out boat with us and having a fish cleaning station available was great. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your home!

Great Location

Great house in a great location. Our highlights were going to Founders Park for their swimming pool. We took our rental agreement and they gave us a free pass for the week. It cost us just $3 per day to use the Olympic size pool. We loved cycling up to Cafe Moka for coffee and croissants, then buying fresh fish from the fish shop. Would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing vacation.
