A very good property that needs some TLC
Our family really enjoyed the stay at this property. The mountain views out of the front and back of the property were great. Loved the location as it was a quiet neighborhood only a few minutes from both the Echo Canyon and Cholla trailheads for great hikes (note these are hikes rated Extremely Difficult). Was a quick drive into Old Town Scottsdale for shopping/dining and only 20 mins to PHX airport.The property overall is very good. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable and owner/manager was very easy to work with and helpful when needed. The game room in the garage was a real hit with our kids and the hot tub was great. Having only 2 full bathrooms (and a powder room) was not an issue for our family of 4 but if you really maxed out the sleeping options in this house that might feel a bit tight.The shortcoming we found was the property just seemed a little beat up. On the day of our arrival, the master shower knob was broken and stuck at a scalding hot temperature, there was only a single left-handed putter for the putting green and the main living room tv remote did not work. They fixed these early afternoon the next day so my compliments to the management company on handling but there seemed were a lot of minor issues. The dryer is missing knobs that have broken off so can only use on the highest heat setting and the Pop-a-shot is held together with electrical tape so it kept malfunctioning. Would still recommend but the little things could be improved.
