We were a bit worried when we read some of the other reviews, but to our surprise the space was nice. The door was of concern, but we were able to get the key from the owner and lock the door. The table and chairs mentioned in earlier reviews have obviously been replaced, we had no issues with the wifi, and everything was cleaned when we arrived. The hot tube outside was a great bonus. It is not "The Four Seasons", but it was a nice and quiet get away. It is not too far from the beach, walking/biking trails, and nice places to eat. We are planning to come at another time.
It's a small trailer park, and the trailers are not clearly marked. It will take a minute to find it, your gps will not lead you straight there. The first night was rather bumpy, because we couldn't get the tv to work because the internet was down. It was fixed by next day. It has great amenities and is close to the beach. It was definitely what we were looking for, for a weekend getaway.
Upon reserving this, we knew it was a trailer and we were fine with that. We were shocked and literally scared when we arrived though. First off, if you rent this, make sure you arrive during the day. We showed up at night and it was so hard to find it. The neighborhood is pretty bad and it was dark and we had to message the owner to get the actual address. Then we had to drive around like creeps shining flashlights on peoples trailers to find the one we rented.
Upon entering, all doors were unlocked. The deadbolt does not work on the door as it was obviously broken into.
There was a camera but it was unplugged.
We had to walk through tall grass but the backyard was fully fenced with a wood fence. The wood gate does not close all the way but we have big dogs so they couldn’t slip through the little gap. There was another gate to the neighbors yard that we had to close ourselves. There was also a large opening to the crawl space so we had to cover that.
Upon entering we had to check the whole place over to make sure no one had broken in since it was unlocked. Once we cleared it we then checked every bed for bed bugs (it just looked like one of those places)
one of the bedrooms has no light and there was some sort of small animal poop on the carpet.
No lamps and minimally furnished. Bed sheets were not washed. Utensils in drawer were dirty. Very close to the beach though.
We left the night before check out because we were so uncomfortable. No check out instructions.
I read previous reviews and nobody stated the things that stood out to me so here’s some fyi. This mobile home is older and in a trailer park and not pleasing to the eye, water pressure in master shower isn’t the best, back bedroom smells like wet dog, ceiling fan in the living room doesn’t work and kitchen chairs are wobbly to the point we were afraid to sit in them. All of these weren’t big deals, the big deal was the cleanliness. There was a beer bottle sitting on the porch rail, paper towels waded up on the kitchen counter, no trash bag in the kitchen trash can but the grossest thing was the pee and toilet paper left in the 2nd bathroom toilet telling me that this property was NOT thoroughly cleaned before we got there.
Contact with the owner was good and she even offered the WiFi info without us asking. We would stay here again as it is a good location and it served the purpose, it just needs better, more attentive cleaning.
Probably won't find a better spot for the value. Very affordable to stay in orange beach. Closest public beach is Perdido beach.

Wish it was better…
Okay i don’t know where to begin. To start off the address was listed incorrectly so it was a pain to find. Once we found it, the door was unlocked, there was a camera inside the home, after inspecting we found roaches in almost every room in the trailer, there was what appeared to be a pee stain on the floor, one of the rooms smelled like cat pee, there was also some furniture that was already broken which raised some red flags. Unfortunately we had to stick it out because we couldn’t get a hotel room on such short notice. Also the host was hard to contact. I wouldn’t stay here again.
We enjoyed staying in this location. Trailer was Clean had nice appliances. Not enough seating in living room and not enough wash rags. Nice host and easy to get ahold of.
Thank you for a memorable experience with family!
