The good, the bad, the ugly
Good- The location of this property was awesome. I was there by myself and I felt very safe. Honestly, if the area wasn’t as good as it is, I would’ve left night 1. I got locked out one night and the manager was very quick to answer my call and provide a quick solution. I wish the communication had been like that throughout…Bad- I had to buy all new sheets and pillows. Think of the worst pillow you’ve ever slept on and flatten it. That’s probably the best description I can give you for how bad those pillows were. The sheets… completely pilled… pillow cases and all. The ugly- Talk about funky! There was a pot full of used vegetable oil in the over which meant so many roaches. That whole first week I scrubbed the kitchen from top to bottom and got roach spray. Some roaches are expected with the age of the building and being close to the park, but this was bad. There were at least three roach sitings everyday for at least a week. I reached out to management about getting some remedies, after all they’re in the business of hospitality, and was told they would tell management and let me know. Never heard a word again. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here unless you plan to bring your own towels, sheets, pots, pans, comforter, and pillows. The location is absolutely perfect, and management could make very small adjustments to make this stay at least 4 stars. I recommend they replace all of the items I mentioned above and improve their communications.
