We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend in this casita in Prescott. The place is in a peaceful location, very comfortable and fully stocked. The hosts are mindful and prompt at communicating. We will definitely stay here again.
This was a perfect place for a weekend getaway. Close to downtown resturants and shopping and the kids loved seeing all the wildlife in the woods. Last morning there we saw deer from the porch.
Stayed here with my wife while visiting family and attending a wedding. The casita had everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Prescott area.
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful experience! The casita was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outside pictures don’t do the area justice, was so pretty nestled in the woods without being too far from town. Highly recommend, would stay here again. Thanks Brian and Dena!
I had a great stay at this small, but very well laid out casita. The owners Brian and Dena where great to communicate with and made it special since I was there solo to celebrate my BDay and do some outdoor activities. It’s tucked back and a stellar spot to get away from the daily grind, but also very close to all Prescott town functions. Thanks again for a pleasant stay and I highly recommend.

We brought our bikes and enjoyed the access to trails. Full kitchen and large bathroom were a plus. Lots of little small details -- extra blankets, laundry detergent -- made it extra comfortable.
The street is off the beaten path, but Google Maps got us there easily.
This is by far one of the nicest and cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. The host had everything we needed to make it feel like home. We loved seeing all the deer on our way back each night. This is a little peace of heaven.
We came for our anniversary. Brian was kind enough to have a nice card and bottle of wine, as well as some sweet treats, waiting for us! Communication was excellent. The casita is a 10 min drive to downtown Prescott. Saw lots of wildlife. The place is lovely. Nice and quiet, with hiking nearby. We really appreciate the ceiling fans! We will definitely book again!
The title is spot on. Beautiful, clean, and everything you need. Hosts are great. I did make one suggestion about a drape for the entrance to bedroom. When the sun comes up, all the light comes into the casita living/kitchen area through all the beautiful windows. Other than that, it’s a perfect spot for a getaway to access Prescott. I would stay here every time I visit.
The purpose of my visit to Prescott was to escape the heat of Phoenix and explore parts of AZ that were new to me. What a bonus to find this carefully appointed casita perched on the side of the mountain surrounded only by the sights and sounds of nature. Tucked back in a heavily wooded neighborhood, it felt safe and secluded but was only a 10-minute drive from downtown Prescott. During the day, forest creatures could be seen foraging for food. At night, the chirping of cicadas and the howling of coyotes lulled me to sleep. This place is special and the hosts were very gracious.
The Casita was clean, bright, and just the perfect amount of space for a short weekend getaway! Inside was everything I needed and more. The big windows in the bedroom showing the forest was beautiful, and the deck was definitely the place to journal or stargaze. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to feel a bit isolated from the city and have a great view of the night sky. Downtown Prescott was a short drive away as were some hiking trails.
The hosts were wonderful and quick to respond. When I was there, I was not at all bothered. Will definitely come back again when it is cooler out for another round of hiking and exploring!
Such a peaceful spot to get away and relax! Only a short drive to downtown but it feels like you're worlds away.
Brian and Dena were great hosts and the property was exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable. The guestbook is filled with great suggestions, I wish we had time to try more of the restaurants on the list! We spent one afternoon hiking the trails across the street and the views were absolutely incredible.
I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a little R&R and it would be my first choice of places to stay if I'm ever in Prescott again.
Was a perfect location for my visit. I could see the roof top of my 94 year old friend's home. The casita was wonderful and it seems there was a lot of thought in the supplies that might be needed. I only have a couple suggestions, since I am only 5'3" I could not reach the laundry supplies nor the kitchen blinds. Maybe store the laundry supplies under the sink and add a pull strap to the kitchen blinds. Other than those two things I absolutely loved it.
It was a last minute weekend getaway. We checked in Thursday evening and worked from the casita on Friday before starting the weekend, attending work conference calls while taking in the beautiful views of the pine tree forest and sunrise from the front porch, .
Though there are houses nearby, there is still enough privacy. Brian was a great host, responded to questions quickly and fixed internet issues. The property was new, very clean with welcoming decor and a stocked kitchen.
10min drive to Prescott downtown gave us plenty of opportunities to try great food and activities to do for a casual relaxing weekend.
We didn't have time to explore the hiking trails nearby and in fact we debated extending the stay, but saved it for the next trip ;-)
