Our home -Casa Rio Dulce- is situated on 12 acres of jungle with over 400 feet of private beach frontage. Jacko will be your private live on site expert with all plant and animal information and gives free daily tours of our private reserve.
There is a great surf break out front, along with 2 km of private hiking trails, are in your backyard. The property is home to 4 species of primates including Spider, Howler, Squirrel monkeys and white faced Capuchins. Scarlet macaws, 2 species of toucans & the famous Morpho butterfly visit daily. Hike our Incredible beach path that meanders through hammock gardens -perfect for relaxing and along the river dulce.

Why they chose this property
This Property has private hiking paths along a river, beach access in a gated secure area. Our Property has resident toucans and coatis that visit daily to check out the papaya and bananas growing on the land. You will be able to watch these animals while sitting high on the wrap around deck. Also four species of monkeys visit the tree surrounding the house daily.
What makes this property unique
The Property has a live on site guide and care taker Jaco. Jaco can help organize tours including waterfall hikes, dolphin tours, horseback riding to waterfalls, catered local cuisine. Jaco personally leads tours to a amazing waterfall with a safe swimming area for families. Jaco is native to this area and has a huge amount of knowledge all the local trees and animals on the Osa.
Jaco is happy to speak with you regarding any activities and can arrange anything needed. Ask him for a night hike on the property to see our crocodile in the river or help you find the tree frogs.
