When we first arrived, we were impressed by the size of the basement home. The entrance was easy to get to and very quite while we were at the apartment. The grounds were clean and we taken care of. The host Megan was very tentative, any questions that i had she and was eager to take care of our needs Wound be happy to stay there again replied very fast
I was in area for weekend events withbfriends and needed a place to rest and eat. This provided thst need. Location was nice (based on where event was, not much was close) but thats not the hosts issue.
Nice place to stay if you are in Saratoga Springs for a few days. Close to local amenities but was able to find some trails in the neighborhood to walk and run. Great view of the Valley from on top of the neighborhood. Would stay again.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Just ok
The presentation of the listing is lovely, however other than surface tidiness, it was quite dirty. The mattress pad was dirty with brown staining, the washer had slime and hair dripping from the rubber seal when we used it for a small batch. There is orange slime mold in the shower and the front rug is white stained and doesn’t appear to have been vacuumed or swept, so if you aren’t picky about cleaning then It would be fine. The description wasn’t completely accurate, it doesn’t actually sleep 4, there’s a blow up mattress and no real room for it if you want kids nearby while sleeping and they didn’t specify that it’s the basement of a larger home.
We loved the accommodations we chose. The bed was super comfy, the furnishings were cute and very stylish, there was plenty of everything we needed in toiletries and kitchen supplies, and we felt completely at home. The only “negative” thing was where we were asked to park on the street, was right by a sprinkler, and it left hard water spots on our car so we had to park a little further up the street on the opposite side. A quick car wash resolved the problem but just be aware. Otherwise, we loved our stay and would stay there again.
This one-bedroom downstairs apartment was perfect for a couple.
Entry and exit procedures were easy. However, just a quick note, this is a downstairs apartment with an outside external entry that is down eight or ten concrete steps (that may come into play if you have physical needs or it's winter).
The apartment itself is very clean and very well maintained. We brought our own (favorite) coffee pods, but there was already a well-stocked with a variety of coffee pods.
The bed was very comfortable.
The television is huge and very nice.
There are two separate easy to use ac/heat units in the living room and bedroom.
The shower, wow, what a very nice powerful rain shower type shower (no water pressure issues here). It was very nice and relaxing, especially after driving 13 hours to get there.
Overall, everything was excellent. We will book this place again the next time we need to be in the area.
The property was a good one. There was a hint of a musty smell that bothered my wife more than me. The living room rug is a trip hazard as it bunches up. And, well, the Best Shower Ever due to the sunflower shower head and huge water pressure. The property was a good one.
This place is adorable! It was clean and looked just like the listing. The listing said there would be pods for the keurig, they were all hot cocoa, no coffee, which was disappointing and forced me to have to go to the grocery store. You do have to walk down a full flight of stairs outside to get into the place. The lock pad is black and after being in the sun all day it will burn your finger tips off. We were there two nights and did hear the owners pet upstairs in the middle of the night directly above the bed that woke us and could hear people another night too but we were luckily awake late that night. Don’t expect it to be dead quiet, after all, it is in the homeowners basement.
