This property exceeded our expectations. The property gave our 6year old grandson lots of room to run and explore. The cabin was very clean and had almost everything we needed. With the bedroom and bathroom downstairs it allowed the grandparents to have a little privacy. We would definitely consider staying there again in the future. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.
I hate to do this but I took my grown kids and grandbabies to the cabin, I'm not sure if the owner know but the cabin was clean until we started noticing not hardly any lights for outside, no lights going up the stairs inside the house. The sheets and the bed comforters had gross stains all over them. Not sure if it was urine or what it was. I've got pictures of the bedding. My daughter went to give my grandson 5 years old a bath and they was pube hair in the supposedly clean towels. That's what got me upset the most. The bedding just didn't look washed.I hate to leave a bed review but these are things I feel like people need to check, especially the cleaning people. I almost contacted the owner but I was trying to not get to upset because I just wanted my family to have and enjoy themselves. Like I said I'm not sure if owner is aware but I'd fire the cleaning lady and some of the dishes in kitchen was not cleaned had left over food on them.
Other than that the house was good and we did enjoy the company of family.

Honest As I See It...
This property, comparatively, is one of the cheapest we found, so that's a consideration. The creek is why we picked (to fish a little in down time). Fishing was a 3 in the creek, (that's just info for fisherman, but still fun.) We stayed with our kids and grands, 12 of us. Cabin stated "sleeps 12". It did.
Upon arrival, first notice was the grass not being mowed and it was way too high to enjoy the little yard. The property overall could use some love in the yardwork dept. The carport could use a cleaning (nesting bird and bird poop). After a few minutes, we figured out the code is for the front door up the steps, not under the carport. The place inside was clean, the beds are comfortable. The AC works good and provided for a nice feel. The porches provide a nice outdoor gathering, especially the upstairs screened in area,(downstairs good for cornhole and grilling). Laundry area is good, nice actually. All appliances worked as they should. One suggestion for owner... provide more cooking pans, skillets, bowls, and plates. If you sleep 12, have more than 7 plates etc. It's a small investment. So... summarization... priced on the low end for the area, but right for what it is and offers. I would stay there again if in the area, because of the price. I overall give this place a 3.8-4.0. A "little spend" on cooking supplies and some yard love, would be appreciated by patrons. Thanks for the experience! PS: Only access from Cut Cane Rd!

Hi my name is Ghiass. I live in sunny South Florida and I love it here and Georgia! I love nature and the outdoors and fell in love with the mountains of north Georgia years ago. I used to travel up there and rent cabins for the weekend regularly until I finally decided to own one for myself! I found this cabin and knew it was the one, and after sneaking away from Florida constantly to the peace and quiet of Morganton, I decided to share it with other people too! This is my home away from home and I hope you guys fall in love with it like I did. Please enjoy the beautiful scenery and the coziness and come back again soon! Guests are encouraged to contact me for any questions they have during their stay! I will respond quickly.
Why they chose this property
Quiet area with only a few other cabins in the area. This cabin is peacefully secluded with the sounds of nature all around. The perfect relaxing getaway from work or school. Things to do: Boating Hiking Horse riding Tubbing Ziplining Jet-Skiing Blue Ridge downtown is only 10-15 min away from the cabins, where they can enjoy variety of fine dinning and restaurants. Take a train ride though the city and visit gift stores. They can download app ALLTRAILS which offers great info regarding all the activities in the area/nearby.
