This newly renovated 3 story, 5 bedroom, 4 bath and 2 patio home is nestled on 1/2 an acre in the lush green, rolling hills of Louisville, KY, known as Indian Hills. This home is filled with natural light and is ideal for a family who will take care of it as if it's their own.
For those who love to walk and/or bike ride, there are endless routes throughout the neighborhood as well as pathways to two shopping centers with grocery stores and various types of restaurants (i.e., Italian, American, Thai, Cuban & more). The airport is just 15 minutes away, Fresh Market is within walking distance and the Holiday Manor shopping center is just a short 5 minute drive away.
There are a total of 5 bedrooms (4 upstairs and one in the basement). One of the bedrooms is currently a nursery, but should you need it to have a different bed, we can arrange that.
There is a half bath on the main floor across from the mudroom, right around the corner from the kitchen. Our kitchen table extends and can seat up to 10 people and so does our family room sectional. We also have a separate dining room and living room. There is a handcrafted, Balinese daybed in our sunroom where you can watch the sun rise and fall. In fact, it is not uncommon to see a family of deer visit our backyard as the sun sets. There are also two patios: one off of the sunroom with two dining tables, another seating area, an outdoor gas bbq & fire pit (total seating for up to 17) and the other off of the basement with seating for 2-4.
All bedrooms have their own closets and linens which will be provided. The primary bedroom has a king bed and the primary bath has heated floors with a huge, doorless walk-in shower and a stand alone bathtub.
The basement has one bedroom with a California king bed, a full bath with a shower and bathtub and a beautiful pool table and dartboard along with several other games should you be enticed to play. There is also a 2 car garage you are welcome to use.
Pets may be allowed depending on size and temperament. Smoking of any kind and other drugs are completely prohibited. This is our family home, in a family neighborhood and are only open to renting to individuals who will take great care of it.
We are flexible on dates, however, we'd like to have it rented out by January of 2025.
INDIAN HILLS HISTORY
A little bit of history of Indian Hills: Indian Hills is a place of ponderosa pine forests and flowery meadows with elevations between 6,800 feet and 8,500 feet. Once a summer campground for Ute Indians, it became home to hearty pioneers and then boomed in the 1920's as a resort community, and finally expanded into the modern mountain community of today.
