About this property

Sunny Pines · Escape to the Sunny Pines Cabin

Summary:
❂ Sunny Pines Cabin ❂

Looking to work from home? Work in style with the standing desk, dual monitors, and high speed fiber WI-FI.

Looking to NOT work from home? Enjoy this cozy yet functional space with all the amenities of a large home.

Drive out right to the edge of Cle Elum Lake where you can enjoy the water or picnic on Speelyi Beach. This area is a nature lover's paradise!

The Space:
✧ Beds / Baths ✧
Sleeping options include full and single memory foam bunk beds, as well as a pull out full bed in the sofa. There is also a full bath (no tub) with a compact washer and dryer that you're welcome to use.

✧ Kitchen ✧
Inside the kitchen, you'll find all the silverware, pots, pans and plates you need to pretend like you’re going to cook yourself dinner from scratch! Not to mention the small appliances like coffee maker, toaster, rice cooker, and electric kettle..

✧ Common Spaces ✧
The living room has a large flat-screen TV and electric fireplace where you'll be able to enjoy Netflix, YouTube Premium, and an array of board games. There's also a state of the art computer set up for all your productivity needs - just bring your laptop, plug in, and get ready to work in luxury.

✧ Outdoor Spaces ✧
The deck features a three-burner grill and some seating so you can enjoy some

Guest Access:
AWD or 4x4 vehicles are advised as we do have a steep gravel/dirt driveway to get to the front door of the house. Alternatively, there is parking with EV charging available down by the detached garage just 'round the other side of the building. Additional street parking on the way to the cabin is easy to access and only about a 5-7 minute walk away.

*Snowy Season*
During the snowy months (typically December - April), the road is closed to wheeled vehicles and parking before the gate is required. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the cabin depending on parking availability near the gate during this time of year.

Other Things to Note:
✧ The Area ✧
Activities in and around the area include (but not limited to) dirt and snow sports, day and overnight hikes, boating, river rafting, fishing, golfing, wine tasting, horseback riding, and so much more! Check out Cascade Playtime rentals ranging from boats, to jet skis, to snowmobiles, and more.

✧ Party Size ✧
While the home is equipped to host up to 5 people, we think the perfect group size is 2-3 given the total size is only 700 sqft. We're happy to host all 5, but please keep in mind it will be a little cozier. Need a lot more space? Check out our sister listing, Starry Pines, for a large 3 bed/3 bath cabin just a short walk away.

✧ Pets ✧
Pets are allowed, but only if they are fully potty trained and well behaved. The home is fully carpeted so this is a hard requirement. Please reach out if you have any concerns about this.

✧ Septic ✧
Please keep in mind that we run on septic. So please do not flush ANYTHING that's not toilet paper. We have cute reminder signs posted above the toilets in each bathroom so you don’t forget!

✧ Wildlife ✧
We are in a remote mountain area so please be mindful of animals when outside (and while driving). There have been deer and other wild animals known to visit the area so don’t leave food outside.

✧ Fires ✧
No fires or open flames are allowed during the strict burn ban in the area, usually June through September. The gas BBQ grill is okay to use during the burn ban.

✧ Neighborhood ✧
We are in a community with neighbors who live here full time. Please be mindful of noise levels at all times and help maintain a peaceful environment for all.

✧ Not Allowed ✧
Please no smoking and no events. Private elopements are welcome :)

Overall the cabin looks as pictured and has all the necessities including watching and drying unit, kettle, tea, coffee and even work station. The bed was very uncomfortable - we ended up sleeping on the floor. Then we discovered that carpet is not that clean and has human/pets hair on it. Communication is another major area of improvement - the host sent us automated emails but did not respond to any of our questions (we emailed them twice). The checkout instructions were sent an hour before the checkout time - by that moment we have already left. We asked for those instructions the day before - but haven’t heard back.
