Very much as described. Great price for just using for overnights. Previous reviews were helpful and accurate as to entryway and steps. Only suggestion; a hand rail would be nice as entrance steps are steep. Overall, we had a good experience.
My friend and I spent a long weekend in Pittsburgh and absolutely loved our stay! It had everything we needed and was in a great neighborhood! We loved the space and it worked perfectly for us. I would definitely stay here again!
Pros first: The room was very comfortable and clean. The mattress was a dream. We slept very well. Cons: the smallest shower I have ever been in. The narrow walkway behind the house where the neighbors dog patrolled and growled at you while rushing the fence. Also you could hear every footstep and flushed toilet.
Great place to stay for a quick getaway in Pittsburgh. It was a really cool area to walk around to the different places to eat and shop, which are just a few blocks from the room. It was our first time staying in this part of town and would definitely come back and stay again. The place is really cute, comfy bed and had everything we needed.
was cozy enough for a place to sleep - not much in the space to relax. Don't book this place if you are not able bodied. My wife walks with a cane and it was very difficult to get to the door and up the stairs with no handrail. But once inside it was clean and cozy. Bathroom is small, but water heats up fast in the shower and was very clean. Also came provided with an assortment of coffee and tea. Very nice.
Do not stay here if you want any comfort, bed is on the floor, bathroom is very small. Shower is so small if you are over 120 lbs and over 5’5 you will not fit, you can here everything the neighbors say.

Good value but some issues
The apartment was a great value and as advertised. Good location in Upper Lawrenceville. However, the apartment smelled rank and moldy because the bedding had not been cleaned properly. We notified the host right away but they neglected to fix the issue even though we were there three nights.

Not for disabled or elderly
First night the key lock battery died. Took 2 codes before it was right. Wasn’t anything compared to NO RAILING on cement stairs and landing. I told the owners -3 months before I was disabled and if you’re disabled or elderly this is a NO! Also only an alley entrance past a big pit bull.. Great location and cute place but becareful! Beware 3 foot step down into alley. 6 foot cement steps with no railing into this property
The check-in instructions were easy to understand with clear directions. The space is a lovely studio. It has a comfortable bed with necessary amenities such as a microwave and mini-fridge. The bathroom is nice, smaller shower but the shower head id lovely.
The only issue we had was a middle leg of the bed frame had been broken by a previous tenant, which had not been communicated to me. I sat on the bed and i thought it was going to collapse. I reached out to the host, who responded within 10minutes, said they are aware of the situation and a new bed frame was ordered and should be delivered soon. I wish the host communicated this issue prior to my stay. The bed is comfy but it was uneven due to malfunctioning bed frame, which made for an uncomfortable sleep. I mightve chosen a different property, since i paid full price for a broken bed frame.
But all in all, if the bed frame wasnt broken, this space is perfect and id definitely stay here again once the bed frame is replaced.
Did not get code for door entry prior to our arrival. Called customer service number, they spoke with owner, code obtained. The listing said unit had a separate entrance, but not that you had to walk to end of street, go down hill and enter through a very narrow cobblestone alley to get to rear of building. When we could not open front door (which I thought would bring us to the separate entrance noted in the description) again called customer service # and got owners husband on phone, who gave us the information that got us to the rear of the building. Note, row houses on street all connected, no driveway between homes. Literally have to walk around block to find back alley way. Entire unit smaller than cruise ship room, but well furnished.
