Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire property and will receive instructions on how to get access to the front door using the August Home app.

Guests may explore the undeveloped property behind the home, and should accompany children at all times. Treat it as a hiking trail, and use caution accordingly.

Other things to note
You may run into the neighbor’s mid-size dog named Max who sometimes wanders onto the property. Please do not feed or pet him.

Driveway: like most mountain homes, it is steep. However, most vehicles do not have a problem getting up and down because our driveway is short. Low-to-the-ground cars may prefer to do a 3 point turn at the top and go down the entrance. Not suited for motorcycles (unless you park in the grassy area at the bottom of the hill on our property)

For the security of our guests and property, we have external security cameras at the front and side door entrances. The cameras cannot see inside the house. They record video and audio of the driveway, deck, and street. The cameras will be on during your stay.

Polar Express weekend

Cabin was as described, my kids absolutely loved staying there and didn't want to leave. The only thing I would say is that the beds are small but new and comfortable.

Listing photos were accurate. Beautiful drive to and from during the day. Host was communicative and friendly. Great spot for a chill weekend in the cabin or as a base camp for excursions.

Nice cabin!

We were a group of 4 bikers who trailered our bikes up to the cabin. The cabin was very clean and there was parking for at least 3 vehicles. The road leading up to the cabin is paved and narrow. You’re able to drive up to the cabin in a regular vehicle, but 4x4 or AWD vehicle is definitely recommended, especially if the road is wet. Check in is great. The owners replied promptly to our messages and everything on the description is correct. You’ll have no surprises.

Book it now!

We came down on the bike to do the tail of the dragon. The weather made a wonderful change and it turned out to be warm and sunny. This cabin was so beautiful and quiet and just so wonderful we’ve already talked about coming back for a longer stay. Literally everything you could need plus some games in the dressers. 10/10 don’t wait just book it. The only thing that could have possibly made this better was a hot tub lol my body was hurting after all that riding lol. Also service is still spotty even with WiFi but it was nice to be able to disconnect. Can’t wait to come back thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home

Hiking trip on the AT

It was the perfect stay before we embarked on a 37 mile hike on the AT from Fontana Dam to Clingmans Dome. The place was beautiful, relaxing and very clean. I had my adult children join me and we were all thrilled with this place. They didn't want to leave!

Just-Right location!

The home was easy to get to and easy to access. Everything was great - comfy beds, strong WiFi, clean, and all as advertised. The Stecoah area isn’t super close to hardware stores and supermarkets but that makes it all the better. Robbinsville proper is a short drive and has what you need. Bryson City is plenty close enough. Only comment at all is that there is a nice, new-looking Keurig - so if you plan to drink plenty of coffee, bring along extras of you fav flavors. Definite great place and a fair price, especially for this area.
