About this property
Beautiful Victorian In Kingston NY
Hi All!
We have a beautiful historic Victorian home in Kingston, NY - close to the Rondout waterfront and Uptown Stockade; surrounded by amazing restaurants, bars, shops, and everything Kingston has to offer. Walking, biking, and of course driving distance to all Hudson Valley charmers.
The home is over 120 years old and has maintained the majority of is original detailing! We currently have it set up with three rooms for you to use - two bedrooms and a work-from-home office. The guest bedroom also has a desk as an additional work space. There is a full bath and half bath, partially finished basement, large kitchen and a formal dining room! It has a large backyard, a peaceful front porch and is just an overall lovely place to spend time. The back deck also has a grill and a chiminea for burning wood at night.
***Priority given to animal lovers as our 10 year old house-cat Meryl loves to hang back and make new friends when we travel***
We are a shoeless house as we love a bright clean space with happy rugs :) As this is a historic home, and furnished with our antiques and prized possessions, on a quiet residential block - it is not a party home but more of an enjoy the Hudson Valley by a fire with a glass of wine kinda home :)
Home features:
- 2 bedrooms and an office upstairs - main bedroom with a king bed, guest with a queen and the office has a twin futon but its better used as a work-from-home space.
- 1.5 bathrooms - half bath on main floor and primary full bath upstairs
- Peaceful front porch and a large green back yard with a deck and hammock
- 2282 square feet of living space with midcentury and modern furnishings, original hardwood flooring, exposed wood, beautiful original banister, lots of natural light, original pocket doors, second secret staircase and so much more!
- Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, full refrigerator and all the necessary appliances
- Partially finished basement
- Washer/Dryer
- High speed internet
- We will cover all utilities during your stay
RENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Security deposit, which will be returned upon inspection of home and a simple lease drawn up as an agreement for us both.
