Great for a Family Getaway

Really enjoyed our stay. The backyard it perfect for a family vacation. Some things are a little dated but the overall home and backyard are great.

Not good value for the money

This place was not at all what it appeared on the website. When I questioned the owner, she told me it was “pristine” on the inside, even though the outside had big orange stains on the siding. While the bathrooms and kitchen were fine, the rest of the house was not what I would call pristine. Almost none of the doors shut properly so there was almost no privacy. There were OPEN and half used foodstuffs left in the cabinets and fridge. A lovely welcome basket greeted us but it was stocked with open and used toiletries. I spent the whole first day cleaning out the stuff other tenants had left behind. And there was almost no kitchenware with which to cook and host even a nice Christmas dinner - the existing teflon cookware (such as it was) was scratched and unusable!! In the LR, I had to cover the main couch (which was NOT shown on the website) because not only was it unsightly but it was incredibly uncomfortable. There was almost NO light in the whole house either - shockingly dark at night. Outside was mildly better, though again, the picture did not tell the whole story. The deck was VERY rough and old (patched in places), the outdoor furniture was covered in dirt/dust and/or frayed. And the tiki hut was missing a ton of sand and was filled with debris. Not good value for the money.
