Maria is the best. I love the fact that the neighbors had horses and goats.

Stay at Don Pedro

Stayed for 9 nights. Could have used a little sprucing up but there was everything we needed. The host was very nice to us.

Nicest Host Ever!

Maria is the nicest lady and made check in and out very easy. But at the end of the day, the house was not clean. Cobwebs and dead bugs EVERYWHERE. Yes, it’s in the country and I know there are bugs but it was not good. One of the towels left in the bathroom was dirty. And there is a dog who stays on property which was not originally advertised. It’s a sweet dog but may not be for everyone. I don’t like to leave a bad review but would not feel right saying this place is nice. It was fine for staying one night.

Location great but house terrible

We were so disappointed with this rental. The owner is nice but blamed all issues on the previous renters. They let us drop our food off early. When I let the owner know how dirty the place was she said: "Well we didn't have time because of the early check in." The house was filthy: 1. Spiders and cobwebs everywhere 2. Dead fly in refrigerator 3. Mouse poop in the kitchen drawer 4. The carpet through out the house was extremely dirty 5. There were lots of bugs behind all of the beds 6. There was horse poop all around the property. 7. No functioning BBQ- gas BBQ destroyed and not used in many many months. Owner said there is a Weber and a store down the street to by charcoal. She said it was the guests responsibility to bring charcoal... 8. The AC was not central AC. They had two window units in the master bedroom and living room. It was 100 degrees in the other bedrooms and the kitchen was really hot. Lastly, there was someone living in the garage. Weird and uncomfortable. We were so upset we left Saturday after boating. I told the owner we were leaving and she didn't even bother to ask why.

Great Stay and easy commute to Lake

Location is amazing if planning on spending your time at Don Pedro lake it was only a 10 minute commute. The host was fabulous to work with and responded quickly to all questions. A great perk is a dollar general is just down the road for any of those last minute items you may have forgot. The home provided easy access to park with the boat as well. The only downside is the porch was being renovated when we stayed but not a big deal as we spent most of the time on the lake. Cooking utensil, pots, pans etc are all provided to cook some amazing meals. One suggestion is to remove rug in the kitchen as the corners are folded up and several of us kept tripping over it. Overall had an amazing stay and would book this home again.
